What About The Debt?

Yet, you are going to try to do just that. Simply admit that he’s spent far, far more than his all the past Presidnets combined and move on.

Here you go call this right here:

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-added-more-national-debt-first-19-months-all-presidents-washington-through-reagan

Facts suck huh?

He’s been President now for four years. What are you liberals going to say when he’s President eight years and the debt is over 20 Trillion? “Sniff, sniff it’s George Bush’s fault”

That’s a fact, when he did have both house’s of congress democrat what did he do? Did he fix the economy? Nooooooo he spent more money by taking over 1/6th of the economy with OBAMA CARE! Ask yourself this question, what would a good President have done?
He’s continued to grow the debt bomb undoubtedly and should be called out for such.
You’re right so stop defending him.
Here comes the right wing cheerleading party.
Then that must be you too as you said he was not handling the debt properly. Welcome to the right wing. You’ll find over here that we take responsibility for what we do and we don’t blame others. Obam raised the debt more than Washington (as in George) to Reagan. Live with it.

Not at all I’ve already said that the republicans have their hands in it too. But Obama is the king of debt. That is an irrefutable fact. That you try to defend him while admitting it is just weak and pathetic. And yeah it makes you sound like a liberal.

Not at all. You need to read my post on why Obama won. It was quite the reverse. People didn’t see through his BS and that’s why he was reelected.

-18-24 year olds who thought he was cool. And that’s why obama did the Jon, Dave and Jay circut he knew he didn’t have to talk about serious matters like debt reduction. All he had to do was convince the young know nothings that he was cooler than Romny- WELL PLAYED OBAMA!

He handed the auto workers unions GM on a silver plate. and of course he panders the other unions like the teachers unions.

And the single women wanted to have free stuff. After all the republicans launched a war on women…LOL it even looks silly when I type it. But it worked! It worked because he pulled the wool over their eyes while he seranaded them to sleep. It was masterful.

But oops now he’s President again and he just doesn’t know what to do about all that debt does he? Darn…hey I have an idea maybe he can go on David Letterman or Jon Steward and sing an Al Green song. That should take care of that nasty old debt.

No…that won’t work. Hmmm…hope he has a plan “B”.

Right, but instead of giving someone else a chance like a moderate republican we have the same old shit that was in the White House before.

Hey that makes sense. I have a failing employee who never makes a sale. I got it! I WILL GIVE HIM A RAISE!

LOL…we are so fucking finished!

There it is you said it!

YOU DID IT!

LOL

You blamed Bush!

And that is just about all you have to do to get reelected apparently. With the media running interference you don’t have to perform just blame the guy who came before you.

Wow…Obama got elected to help the country he failed so he blamed Bush and got reelected.

What will he say in 2016 when the debt is over 20 trillion? Will you still be on board for blaming Bush?

Come on say it. You will won’t you? It will never be Obama’s fault how could it? He is a wonderful super human individual who somehow sucked for four years. And will suck again for another four as that is all he knows how to do.

But it’s okay…it’s all BUSH’S FAULT.

Thanks for the laugh kid.

If I’m wrong then all you have to do is prove it.

Here’s how.

Tell me all of the great things that Obama did over the past four years to help bring the debt down.

OOPS! He didn’t do anything. He inherited something that was not good and…and…wait for it…MADE IT WORSE!

See, that’s all you have to admit. And I agree with you. Obama has been really, really BAD. In fact, he’s been worse than Bush. Gee I wonder when we’ll hear the MSLM say that?

I won’t hold my breath.

You are singing the same song you did earlier. I already told you that those before him of both parties should have done more. But Obama, he’s is the ABSOLUTE WORST. And history backs me up on this as you read in my link. Why do you hate to say that? We just reelected the worst fiscal President in history.

But he sure looked cool on Jon Stewart so yeah he deserves a second term. Um…yeah I’m up for 20+ Trillion in debt.

It won’t get any of us far. I just want to put reality on the table and see how you deal with it. You don’t want to deal with it. You want to defend Obama. You like Obama you think he deserves a second term. Go ahead admit it. You liked it when you saw him on the comedy shows at night. You said, “now that guy is way cooler than Romney. I want him to have a second term.”

And why not?

16 trillion in debt doesn’t matter to you does it? DOES IT?

Phew…at lest we didn’t give someone else a chance to maybe fix the problem. Instead we reelected a guy who made the problem worse. But hey…he’s cool so it’s okay.

I didn’t like any of that. But we just went from the frying pan into the fire when we reelecte the second worst President in modern times!
Sloth wrote:

It’s damn near 2013, and the national debt LEAPED to $16 trillion+ under Obama. Bush isn’t the story anymore. Hey, I’ll be generous and give you the first two years of Obama’s first term. But it’s done now. This is about Obama.
No Sloth Bush is ALWAYS the story. You see it doesn’t matter that your team fumbled the ball 16 times on the one yard line because in last years Super Bowl our team fumbled the ball 4 times.

All they have to do is continue to say the magic word “B U S H” and everything that their naive, left wing arrogant President does is A OKAY!

This is not a realistic or fair characterization of what higher education is, and you’re very aware of that.

A college degree is worth, on average, about a million dollars over the course of a career. Degrees also shield their holders from the most insidious symptoms of economic malaise:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/80345174@N03/7825795220/

No degree: 5.6 million jobs lost in the recession, 230,000 lost in the recovery. College degree: 1.7 million lost in the recession, 2 million gained in the recovery.
Yeah, because everyone and their mom get’s one so they can end up not even working a field remotely related to their major. Why take the guy without a degree when you can take the guy with one to sell your end tables. Heck, it’s an indicator that you’ve at least had remedial Math and English, since the public school system can’t seem to teach it near grade level anymore. I’d scrap it and start over. Only for majors we’re in need of. The rest can apprentice in trades, vocations, and in any other type of on the job type program. In any event, all I’m proposing here is that they feel some of the bite, too. Besides, with so many not finding jobs a little less debt wouldn’t hurt them any.

Something more like this.

I have the solution. We tell China to go fuck themselves and be done. That should knock out about 2/3rds of the debt. Seriously what are they going to do?

We’ll just tell them the difference has long been made up with their artificial devaluing of the yuan.

I will even pen the letter, it goes like this:
Dear Hu,
I know you think we owe you $12,000,000,000,000 or some such shit. Since you guys are a bunch of communistic, pig headed, human rights violating, currency cheating cock suckers, we have made a decision on how best to handle the debt situation.
Go fuck yourself. Take every yuan you think we owe you, and shove that imaginary bullshit strait up your ass. You ain’t getting shit and there is nothing you can do about it.
We don’t need your shitty plastic toys and we can make ipads anywhere. Apple sucks anyway, android is better, so you can shove Apple strait up your cornhole too.

I hope this does not hurt our diplomatic relationship, but if it does, we don’t give a fuck. We think your a bunch of piece of shit tyrants who would feed your citizens the worms off of dogshit if you thought you could get away with it.
Kind Regards,
Obama

If he did that, I might eek out some respect for the man…

I’ll second telling China to go fuck themselves. They have enslaved about 15-20% of the globe and nobody seems to care.

I’ve just shown that college degrees lead to better pay and very substantial protection from economic downturn. When our society earns more money and is less vulnerable to the ravages of recession, our society flourishes. Therefore, it is in the government’s interest to make college as accessible as possible.

I think student loan relief is a good way to do that.

If you want to overhaul education, then that’s a completely separate discussion. Within the system as it is today, you haven’t put up a good argument for cutting student loan subsidies other than that it provides a “civics lesson.”

Excuse me, but cutting subsidies to kids looking for college after the Repeal Big Oil Tax Subsidies Act has been defeated again and again despite the fact that Exxon Mobil is the largest and most profitable company on earth is not a civics lesson I’m itching to teach.

Yeah, they were predatory lenders.

Obviously.

You know what, when you need people to give you money or else you have riots in the streets, that is not the time to run your mouth.

Like, really, really not the time.

I didn’t say just as a ‘civics lesson.’ I said that would be an added benefit. The tuition bubble is real and this would be a good first step in recognizing it. They’re going to be cut. Maybe not now, but they will be. So, let’s get it on the table. Or, have we already decided to start getting protective over our pet causes, arguing for them to be pulled off the table. Because hey, those students will need jobs to pay off their ever increasing debt, so no tax raises. Heck, in fact we should cut taxes to stimulate job growth. And, now we’ve arrived back to the present.

Those same figures you cited would apply to a high school education we as a nation actually believed in, plus training on the job.

In case this hasn’t been posted in a while.

The fact of the matter is that neither party has done jack to keep this country strong.
But guess what? It isn’t their fault - it is the fault of a populace that doesn’t care enough to impose term limits by voting the politicians out.

Any who want to argue this are welcome to look up congressional re- election rate and compare it to approval rating of said body.

hmmm… Oh yeah! Well the response to the response would look like this:

Dear Hu,
We already have your money and we are going to keep it, so you don’t have to lend us shit anymore. We will happily have our shitty plastic toys made in your other shitty little asian satellites. Then when we establish diplomatic relations with them we will borrow trillions from them and then tell them to fuck themselves.

As far as our purity, a sewer is pure to you, so compared to you we are pure as the fresh driven snow.

Then we are going to stand in front of the UN and tell them to fuck themselves.

We like the Japanese way better anyway. They make quality cars and have sushi. Their chicks are hotter too. You eat rat and make complete crap.

I am thankful we can have this meaningful dialog.
