You guys are missing the point: order has to be restored in the ME while we still have the power to enforce it. We can only hope that it sticks.
We are surging toward bankruptcy and a worthless currency. The ME will dissolve and turn into Kenya and Darfur. Does anyone expect someone else to try and keep the peace? China? We need to conquer the oil fields so we don’t have to be at the mercy of ME potentates. This will strengthen the dollar and give us lots of cheap energy. We can then really have a peaceful and democratic ME, under the benevolence of the American people.
HH, what did you type into Google to source that pic?
Just curious.
Was it “nigger machete”, by any chance?[/quote]
Nah, just some pic from a news article about turmoil in Africa.
Now, just curious: since you want to be in the ruling class, how do you propose to do that? You’ll have to be either superwealthy AND a Rothschild/Morgan/Rockefeller, or a brilliant Fabian economist like John K. Galbraith. Since these are unlikely or improbable, wouldn’t it be better to fight for the rights of the common man?

Are you and I the only ones to notice that the originally posted article, on Bush and Netanyahu, is entirely bogus? I have not found one other news outlet to mention it–not BBC, not NYT, not Jerusalem Post, not…
Further, it seems that Bush, who met with a few other opposition politicians, intentionally snubbed Netanyahu.
Perhaps ssn, among others, should be awarded the Gullible Patsy Award from Presscue.
Makes you wonder about who are the liars, and with what intention.
