WANTED: All T-Nation Members

Stuck in Japan for the next few years. The pic is of me in the mountains overlooking the city.

need to resize picture, I’ll do it later.

My roommate and i ‘rescuing’ GPP implements before they are returned after a wild Friday night. I’m on the right.

I was attacked by wild turkeys when i was young. To those who remember their US history, Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey to be the national bird based on its courage and sense of duty (to protect the weaker members of flock), etc, not the bald eagle, which is a scavenger of dead animals. In essence the wild American turkey (in the opinion of me as a child) was/is the toughest (or stupidest) animal in North America, especially since the only ‘meat’ they eat are insects. They also attack cars, pecking the tires till they pop and can kill medium-sized dogs.

Two sisters, a cousin and myself pictured here after a day of shooting on my dad’s property. Currently, I’m at UM studying biochemistry. Obscure facts: I hate driving vehicles made after 1996, and the sound of a soft lunchbox sliding on bricks makes me shudder.
am i the only one that cant see your photo?

WOW! You are amazing! Congrats to you!! Keep it up.

Here is a picture of me being stupid. I always act faux-serious in pictures.

This was taken pre-T-Nation - about 9 months ago. I’ll post another recent pic up soon in the photo forum…dramtatic improvement (in my opinion at least).

Random fact: I study literature and teach Jeet Kune Do.

I’ve lived in five countries, though mostly in Canada. The list is (in chronological order) Romania, Israel, Canada, USA, Taiwan.

Graduated with a B.Sc. in Physics, worked for a while in IT in Canada and the US.

Spent three years in the Canadian infantry; did some training near Jacksonville, Florida.

I love kayaking and scuba diving, practiced Wing Chun for many years. My passion is reading, mostly non-fiction.

This pic is from 2001. I weighed about 205-210lbs at the time (I already posted one from last year).

Obscure fact: I have a photographic memory but can’t remember the names of girls I get the phone numbers of even 2 minutes after they tell me. In fact, I seem to have a problem with names in general and this truly fucked me up in History class in high school.
Do you work your legs?

Of course not. In fact, I simply float around using mental telepathy against any gravitational force.

Pretty cool.

When I was in 5th grade I played Pop Warner Football and went to a summer football camp at RIT. I actualy attended RIT for 2 trimesters (not quarters, weird, huh?) before moving to Florida. I had enough of the cold. It was a long cold walk between the dorms and the classrooms during February.

Even with all that fur to keep you warm?

Yeah, Rochester wasn’t my favorite place - gray and cold. I haven’t been back since I graduated in '93.
Graduated in 96. Still don’t know why anyone NOT from around there would want to go, unless it’s for the garbage plates.
Nick Tahoes was great. Haven’t been there in forever.

Rochester is great in the summer but sucks during the 9 month winter.

I have another obsure fact that may be more interesting than my preponderous of body hair:

I went to high school with (heck, all primary years) and lived in the same subdivision as the actor Philip Seymour Hoffman; I used to hang out in the same circle of people as Marilyn (Brian Warner)Manson (we weren’t really friends, although I am sure he would remember me); and I have a cousin that was on Seinfeld a few times (Joe the grocer). Clearly, if you associate with me you will get famous while I continue to toil in the depths of obscurity.

I went to high school with Hoffman. I don’t really remember him though.

Is Marilyn Manson from the Rochester area too?

oh yeah?

well,

I went to high school with Moose Miller, he’s in the labor union down in Detroit. Oh, oh, I also went to school with Matt S, a mortgage lender in Colorado. Ahh and how can I forget my boy JP, who teaches high school business and coaches JV basketball in Michigan. Then, there is my main man Virgil Malloy, who was in the military but got out and is an electrician, also union. You might remember him from such famous jobs as installing fiber-optic phonelines in a detroit area hospital, and who can deny his performance in the install he did for GM?

My baby and I.

Obscure facts: 1) I’ve returned to semi-lurker status- I don’t post much but I’m still always reading here. 2) Today is my birthday and I’m feeling very old. 3) I teach weight training to undergrad kids here at U of I…in my mind it’s harder than teaching lecture classes.

Won the Grand Prize at the '97 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Oh.
Was Arnold’s guest for a weekend in January '99. Flew me and a buddy to Hollywood were we had dinner with Arnold and then we all went on to his movie set @ Universal where he was filming “End Of Days”. That was my 2 days of Hollywood life and I’ll never forget it.

Clearly, you are undertraining. I train at least one of my legs daily…to the point of exhaustion. You don’t know the meaning of intensity, brother!!!
