DAYUM, Rock! Where 'ya been?

Just been working…been job hopping since 2010, and I’m on my fourth now…hope it sticks. Selling large IT software projects to City/County Government has not been great these last 4 years.
Anyway…I think Biden did a good job overall in attack mode, but it would have been a clear win had he not interrupted and condescended Ryan 87 times during the debate.
However Ryan looked like the adult in the room.
Overall I think the Independents will sway to Ryan based on the lack of respect and manners of the current VP.

My only comment - Joltin’ Joe put an adrenaline needle into the heart of my party, and into the campaign.
This will change the outcome, even if it’s only because it shoots life back into the President.
Hats off Joe. You put a big-ass dent in the Panzer tank that is the GOP Machine last night.
You are the only person I have heard (here or in the news) say this was not only a win, but will change the tide toward Obama being re-elected. Will you expand on your reasons why, please?

It’ll help bolster the base and may even get people who were previously apathetic energized but I don’t see the debate pulling in moderates or swing votes. And I think that’s exactly what the dems wanted. Obama’s going to have to pull in those swing votes.

That’s because Irish is one of the rabid left who was actually impressed by Joe (the Joker) Biden’s over the top attack mode last night. Irish likes it when lefty’s are rude and interrupt, and when anyone from the left breaks out in laughter when a conservative is talking it’s intoxicating to him. What normal people view as rude, disrespectful behavior is just about right for those on the far left…as long as it’s a lefty doing it. As I’ve said the far left loved Biden’t performance. The independents not so much. Now who will be swaying this election? Uh huh.
And this VP debate will have the exact same effect on the Presidential election as all of the past VP debates–NADA.

You hit the nail on the head. This puts more pressure on the chosen one to actually stand up to Romney and give a credible performance. If the same Obama shows up that showed up in the first debate this election is all but over. But, I doubt that will happen. Even mister arrogance knows when he’s had his ass kicked. Obama will be ready this time, I expect a close Presidential debate. Well as close as it can be when one person has to defend perhaps the worst record for any first term President since Jimmy Carter.
CNN - Forty-eight percent of voters who watched the vice presidential debate think that Rep. Paul Ryan won the showdown, according to a CNN/ORC International nationwide poll conducted right after Thursday nightâ??s faceoff. Forty-four percent say that Vice President Joe Biden was victorious…By a 50%-41% margin, debate watchers say that Ryan rather than Biden better expressed himself.
Did you see that? This is not a FOX poll but a CNN poll.
So, it’s good that the wacky far left enjoyed mean Joe Biden’s performance. Hey after the ass kicking that Obama suffered they needed something. But the rest of us sat there in jaw dropping silence as the Vice President carried on with his rude antics. By the way Joe when you call someone “friend” the way you did last night that is taken as sarcasm by the general voting populace. And it’s one more thing that the far left drooled over but the rest of the country disapproved of.
My prediction is that Biden has been informed to cut loose, come out swinging, and he will. Ryan will be more likeable, sunny in his systematic destruction of the Obama/Biden record.
Agreed. I bet Ryan won’t be in much of an attack-dog mode. There’s no reason to. And, all that does is play to the base, which, maybe that is how Obama plans to win the election (baselings turnout), but I think that nastiness backfires with moderates and independents.
Biden, though, has no choice. He has to be aggressive. I think this is a mistake, but the Left has made it clear he has no option but to attack.
