Veterans, Thank You

The best way I can thank-you all for your services and sacrifices is to enjoy the freedom you have guaranteed me. I do not take for granted that which so many have died to preserve. I think of the wonderful life I have everyday and everyday I live it to the fullest.

I do not live my life selfishly. I live it to show those that made it possible. That life is greatest when it is accompanied with the freedom to express yourself as you wish. You are my heros and I am humbled in your presence.

Know this, I do not honor you today! I honor you everyday!
X2. My feelings exactly.

To all veterans AND those currently serving, I am grateful beyond words. You have been and are protecting the privileges we hold dear and my thoughts are with you every day.

Thank you!!

And yet I feel more served by a McDonalds drive thru window worker than by other people killing other people overseas.

Where is their holiday?

I am a veteran. I am not special just because there is a veterans day and neither is anyone else. Push-off, you emotional weenie.

Luckily, I can drive thru and give my thanks to the real heroes. Mmmmmmmm, double quarter-pounder for a buck.
Thanks to these posts, all of us who served now know exactly what sort of soldier you were. We’ve all had the misfortune of serving with a giant douchebag who made the rest of look like idiots, you might not know this because you ARE that douchebag.

Your opinion is now shit to me on all topics because I know your type. In my platoon, you were Pvt.Page who used to brag about how Betty Page was his aunt and that made him “special”.

Grats and ignored.

Thank you all for your service.
