Friday. I’ll let you know
I’ve got some lab results from last week i want to share with you…
Apolipoprotein A (Apo-A1) 1.00 g/L 1.05 - 1.75
Apolipoprotein B 1.30 g/L 0.6 - 1.4
Lipoprotein A 0.30 g/L 0 - 0.3
Apolipoprotein B/A1 1.30 RATIO
Low Risk < 0.7
Moderate Risk0.7 - 0.9
High Risk > 0.9
So for the Apolipoprotein B/A1 ratio apparently i am at high risk and have below the range Apo-A1… What does all these mean for my CV system? Any ideas?
Edit: Found this but it’s really beyond my depth… Comparison of Apolipoprotein B/A1 ratio, Framingham risk score and TC/HDL-c for predicting clinical outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention | Lipids in Health and Disease | Full Text
Sure. I will do it tomorrow.
I think you are overly anxious, if I had to speculate i would say something in the direction of a generalized anxiety disorder.
Forget about these biomarkers, there is a milliin others incl genetic test that can give you a probability of developing cancer, coronary artery disease, stroke and all sorts of other nasty stuff. I strongly believe that knowing all if this only creates anxiety and your life passes without having lived it. Life your live and dont let the fear control it. You could be the healthiest person on paper and still get hit by a bus tomorrow.
Take this heart stuff serious and see another cardiologist to have a cardiac scan done. If he tells you that you are fine accept it.
Maybe reduce your training volume again or skip 2 weeks of training at all. Meet friends, talk, laugh and enjoy the cafes of Istanbul (i love that city!). I would also reduce your dose of T by maybe 20% that should also help you calm down a bit. Your T level at 100 mg is in the 800, so there is room to go down and still stay in the therapeutic range. Not everybody needs and most importantly tolerates high doses of T.
I changed the protocol from 75mgx2 (150mg) weekly to 45mgx3 (135mg) weekly. If that’s not enough i will further lower it after 6 weeks…
I stayed with 150mg for so long because i’ve already had mid-low FT despite high TT l and below the range SHBG with that protocol.(What is the reason behind this btw?? Seriously. My E2 wasn’t crazy high either. )
So i didn’t want to have even lower FT by decreasing my dose but man… I can’t take it anymore…
That’s for sure…
%100 true but I have had to research for myself because i gave up on looking for doctors here. As much as Istanbul is lovely , there is no professional exist here that can help you on hormone optimization.
