I was looking on other sites and google and I ended up coming to this site. I dont consistently work out because I dont really know what I should be doing. The main thing I want to do is increase my vertical jump, also of course I want to start lifting more and get in better shape, but my focus is on increasing my vert. Any help appreciated, thanks
Welcome and #1 start with the beginner thread above. Just consistant working out including squatting Dling the will go a LONG way to improving your verticle. The add in a bit of targeted work plyos etc.
Read up a bit and come on back

the key is lots of repetitions. don’t stop the plyos until you are so sore you can’t get off the ground.
No.
Quality over quantity, ALWAYS.
Recommending weighted plyos to the point of failure is nothing short of irresponsible.

It was uncalled for, but my whole post was sarcastic, in case you didn’t catch it. I was feeling grumpy. Also there is a search engine for stuff like this.
