This doesn’t make much sense. The “liberal media” which apparently now includes Fox declared him the winner off the counts.
Is the argument now that the liberal media reporting the results is an issue?
The liberal media it appears is any media that says something not flattering to the President. Fox News has made the huge mistake of reporting the counts from states. The same Fox News that has hammered Democrats on a daily basis for years is indeed the liberal media now?
By all means recount and lawsuits are all fine with me. But now the people who count the votes are the liberal media as well? They are serving them? They are the ones who gave the liberal media the numbers to report.

At the moment Biden was projected to win (even by Fox News), Trump is on the golf course, COVID is surging through the White House (and the country), and @pat is convinced Trump is still going win because, you know, conspiracy and all.

Yeah this makes exactly no sense. Almost all the major networks called the election at about the same time – the moment when Biden crossed above the 0.5 mandatory recount threshold in PA. With lots of very blue ballots left. The projection from 538 now is that he wins PA by about 1%, which would certainly be above the threshold.
That’s a legit call, liberal media or not. I’m fully in support of a recount request, but the call is the right one given that, the unlikely ability of Trump to even close the gap to push it below the 0.5 threshold, and the fact that it looks like Biden is also going to win AZ and NV.
He needed EITHER Pennsylvania OR the AZ/NV combo to push over 270.

Is there a big left media in America. I hear the term in the UK but the only left newspaper is the guardian all the rest are right leaning with a lot owned by Murdoch. The 3 TV news channels, BBC, itv and sky seem to be right as well. BBC was shown to favour government who has been Tory for some time now.
Gongrats US. I personally see that anyone is better than Trump. But well see how Biden/Harris will handle the country.
PS. Don’t worry about socialism. It’s just a boogeyman/strawman argument. Most of the world is more left than you, but still miles away from disasters like Venezuela or Soviet union.

Theoretically, what happens if Trump just barricades himself in the WH? Do all the Secret Service agents turn on him and forcibly eject him as soon as Biden takes the oath on inauguration day? There could be a movie in there somewhere.
Depends on who you ask.
I think it is a pretty concrete fact that most journalists lean left today due to education/circumstances - but that is not the same as “big left media”.
And remember this is the definition of Left in the USA.
I think the majority of networks lean somewhat left of American Center with MSNBC being the worst and Guardian equivalent.
I would not qualify most networks as “big Left”, with the exception of MSNBC.
But the biggest single network is right leaning.
The bigger problem as I see it is that by and large in the US the media is more tuned to opinion commentary and circus tricks than reporting.
I don’t think It will come to that since I think that the combined force of Republican leaders and his campaign advisors will get him to grudgingly concede. But that speech is going to be ugly, because I can almost guarantee you he will claim it was stolen from him. So it won’t really be a concession speech.
But if push comes to shove the rest of our institutions will yes eject him.

Trump didn’t accept the results in 2016. Democrats didn’t claim election fraud last time but election meddling.
