Yeah I get that. And I agree with you, it’s just hard to take his claims at face value when he’s been doing it for months. He could be right, and I could have trouble listening to him because I dislike him so much.
But…when his current lawsuits are getting thrown out, and even McConnell is basically pushing back on the narrative… The majority of the senior republicans in Congress are basically going silent or pushing back, it’s just not believable to me.
Right is right. No argument from me. But I don’t see any persuasive evidence that his claims are even remotely on the scale he has been claiming. He has the right to challenge results, and should if he feels as he evidently does. But he shouldn’t baselessly throw the integrity of the election under bus without a very strong case.
Equally important, when he challenges and if he eventually loses in court he doesn’t have the right to keep saying these things afterwards. Agree to that? If you go to court and the court decides against you, that’s ballgame.
Too early to tell what exactly is going to happen, but if those votes are legal then it wouldn’t be great. Checking the database is a good first move, but it doesn’t tell you why they were gone (spending summer elsewhere, traveling, etc).
Yep. I think it was always a myth. I am surprised at the Congressional races, but a “wave” isn’t and wasn’t realistic.
I agree with this - and the mail/absentee box locations close before 8 pm, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Ballots not clearly postmarked though…that’s difficult. On one hand any ballot that goes into the mail should be postmarked by the USPS, so it’s THEIR fault not the voter’s fault. On the other hand I could see some individuals trying to just slide it into the receiving mailbox, which is definitely not proper.
I don’t see that scenario happening for 10s of thousands of ballots though.
