No, the problem is not with “late” ballots. No ballots can be caste after election day. The problem is that GOP blocked attempts to start counting early ballots (absentee, mail-in) in PA, so there is a large backlog of these ballots that had been received ahead of time. So, the in-person votes get counted more quickly, but the order of counting and tabulating votes doesn’t make some votes more valid than others.

Millions of Republicans have not voted on Election Day. Are you suggesting those votes should have been thrown out?
Because if so you probably had President Gore and President Clinton and I doubt you really wanted that. Trump and Bush were both likely put over the top by people who didn’t vote on Election Day.
Definitely Gore and the evidence is there for Trump as well.
I honestly don’t know who I’d vote for if I were American.
Our government in the UK isn’t any better though. Probably worse.

To be clear, l am not against any legitimate vote being counted. While it chaps me that so many have a mindset (to me) of my daughter when she was a teenager, it is our system. And imo the best in the world.
The complaints l voice are because of a non ending fixing of what isn’t broken because -progress? Trump hate? my sociology teacher sez?
Why does it matter? That’s the question for Republicans. If they believe they can win then none of that should matter. You either have more votes or you don’t. Why the fear of making it easier for people to vote?

That doesn’t square with the Trump hate part though. Trump is literally saying don’t count the votes. Which he said before the election as well.
Again I would think we would all agree don’t count votes could be universally denounced. But instead it’s Trump wouldn’t be Trump if he wasn’t saying awful and crazy things.

Dude I was saying a typical Republican wins 2020 easily. They didn’t need Trump to win 2020. And I’m doubtful their results could be worse with typical than how 2018 and how 2020 “might” go.
I’ve been saying a Presidents words matter for a long time. So has Aragorn who is definitely to the right of me and probably supports a typical Republican here.
If Trump loses it will be 100% because of what Trump has said repeatedly. People are just tired of it. Clearly a lot of people aren’t but IMO enough to get him kicked out.
But he certainly hasn’t lost yet. But Covid didn’t sink Trump if he loses. Trumps mouth and fingers (tweets) will be to blame.
