In other words when you ask someone in a MAGA hat what MAGA means, you really should be asking what MAGA means to him. Think about one of the many stupid Tweets from Trump and how you have his fans coming up with different interpretations or explanations of what Trump really meant.

My buddies and I were just talking about this the other day. We were hypothesizing that the increased division in America is a result of news channels moving to 24-hour programming. Since they can’t just repeat the news the whole time, they have to fill their schedule with opinion shows and pieces. They realize that most of their viewers are from a certain political demographic, so they sway very heavily toward one side of stories (playing on confirmation bias and the associated neural pathways leading to dopamine excretion when finding their opinion is “right”). Then the “other” side is demonized and vilified more than is deserved and we suddenly hate those that think differently.
You were a fan of Romney? I didn’t shed a blue tear when he lost. The only difference between Romney and Obama was that Romney wasn’t an overt baby killer. Other than that, he was worthless. McCain was at least a war hero and was convicted in his beliefs. Romney is a crony piece of shit.

Can you imagine her laying out her accusations (Soros, Gov. Kemp paid by Dominion, votes counted for Biden as 1.25, etc…) and Guiliani and Trump thought it was too crazy and far-fetched? Trump, who requires no evidence for anything and followers who take his tweets as court admissible evidence of fraud, and Giuliani, whose hair melts into a brown goo that runs down his face, were like “Ummm, that’s a bit much for us.”

Michigan just certified its election. One of the Republicans “abstained”, which is really scary when you think about it. His job is to certify based on the county certifications and vote totals, not his job to listen to conspiracy or fraud theories and make any judgement on that.
And the other Republican (paraphrasing) said that they should wait on the “investigation” into Wayne County’s Votes…but he voted anyway because he didn’t have the power to prevent certification…
This crap is really becoming disheartening in so many ways…

It’s so crazy that Trump has convinced his followers of widespread fraud, and many are convinced that the SCOTUS will take this up and say “Trump won, put those liberals in jail”. When there has not even been the presentation of evidence of fraud in the courtroom.
I mean, if Biden lost and called fraud, and weeks later was still calling fraud without evidence I’d tell the man to Shut Up already. I don’t understand how so many can be completely under Trump’s spell that a tweet of “I WON BY A LANDSLIDE” is all they need to hear to stay the course.
