If you ask a question, instead of endlessly turning the thread towards how my style of conversing makes you cry, I’ll try to answer it.

You must stop the whole “crying” thing - you just can’t pull off the tough guy shtick.

Here is the thing: if you get to complain constantly about “cheerleading”, “drinking KoolAid”, and all your opponents being “programmed” while you remain enlightened - and you do - don’t we, in turn, have as a matter of right to complain about your pretentious windbaggery?

Thunder, you’ve got to follow the programming. Altogether now: “All hail the Magic Conch!!”

All hail Headhunter’s Magic Conch!

All hail Headhunter’s Magic Conch!

All hail Headhunter’s Magic Conch!

I think you mean “Inspector Magic Conch”, with all appropriate referencing rights to Pookie.

But on to the thread, which has been really, really lost - and that is certainly my fault.

The hilarious thing is that you actually think my - or anyone else’s - complaints about your chin-pulling putting on of airs actually hurts our feelings because you somehow think we aren’t very smart (hence the insecurity claims). That, of course, has nothing to do with the complaint, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
No, I think you are insecure because of the way you continually try to mischaracterize people’s statements in a manner related to elevation and ego.

I think you are very smart, and when you stick to issues, you generally do a good job of it, even if we don’t often agree. Surprised?

When you start attaching emotions or motivations to people, you are more likely to be revealing your own thought processes than your opponents.
Not all my opponents are programmed. Some of them appear to be. Just about everybody, including me, will have absorbed some programming at some point.

And none of what you just typed answered my question.

If you get to complain about all those things, then don’t we get to return in kind?
You call that a question? Go ahead… complain all you like. You are certainly welcome to your opinion and when you express it I’ll express mine.

Happier? Do you have any real questions that aren’t related to how you and I interact, ego boy?

It’s not meaningless at all. You may not understand the meaning, but that is not my problem.

Calling somebody a cheerleader is not a the same type of personality judgment, as you are apt to make. This is all because I said “some people need to be deprogrammed”. Is that the same level of insult that you are wildly throwing in my direction?

You are putting all kinds of motivations and emotions into my words (pompous, windbag, conceited) on my behalf.

The fact that you ascribe “elevation” and “ego” to my words, at every opportunity, gives me the impression you are insecure about your own elevation or that ego issues are paramount to you.

If I’m wrong, sue me.
See? Characterizations = two way street. If you don’t care for it, no problem - but it will cut both ways in the meantime.

And - I am done. I have distracted from the thread long enough.
There is nothing else happening on this thread. By going “personal” you and I have effectively killed another thread. Pookie can now hold me co-responsible for another thread death.

You may as well continue to make a fool of yourself at will… I’d hate to stop you now, and as I said, the damage is already done.
