Hey i am currently taking animal pak and i have noticed a change in my work out it feels more intense, maybe its just a phycological thing knowing that is its purpose. I heard of it from my buddies at the gym and they are also using Universal Animal Stak. Now i would like to try Stak, but i needed some information on the defference between M-Stak and Animal Stak 2
First of all, animal pack is way overpriced. (A mere 21 day supply) There is a shit load of pills and you don’t know which is which. You are taking them all at once. Not good especially since you should take vitamine C 3 times a day. It clears the system fast. What about the vitamine E in the product? Ever notice when you buy it at the pharmacie it comes in gels? I would say it is better that way as it is fat soluble. Magnesium and zinc would be best taken at night like a ZMA formula and a simple B Complexe would do the trick taken in the morning. Could even take another in the afternoon if you wanted. So if you would take the money you would spend on Animal pack and bought the vitamins and minerals seperately you would get better dosages of everything and taken when they should be taken and would cost you less. The vitamins recommended are just a suggestion, there could be other options… Animal pack however does contain a good dosage of each vitamin though.
take care,

Interestingly enough, though, these same people tell you to throw your creatine in with Surge so that it will be absorbed with the rise in glucose. However, taking glutamine and creatine at the same time is a waste, since creatine hoggs all the receptors and you litterally piss the glutamine away.
It seems like a conundrum.

Which Biotest staff member told you that glutamine is worthless?
Biotest obviously doesn’t think glutamine is worthless or it wouldn’t be included. People get confused when they assume that every T-Nation contributor speaks on behalf of Biotest. Obviously, they don’t. Often contributors have differing opinions from each other, too. This is one of the things that makes T-Nation a great place.
By the way, I’ve use creatine with my Biotest Surge on a regular basis and have never noted a lesser effect because of it. I think people often get too hung up with not taking certain supplements together. Just like you’ll still get some ZMA in your system when consumed with calcium.
Annnyyywaaays… back to the TOPIC of AnimalStak. Back in the day, AnimalStak used to be a pretty effective product, so I heard. But NOW that the damn DEA shit-canned the Andro, so now it’s full of all this stupid herbal garbage that does damn near nothing. Without any Andro or prohormones, the new AnimalStak is worthless.
can some please help me out on this… Everyone kind of skipped it…What is the difference between m-stak and stak 2???

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with Animal Stak or any of the Animal products…I have a friend that is getting some good results from it…I know The animal line is mildly reputable but I would like to see what people think about it on T-Nation…[/quote]

They’ve been making garbage for years. Mostly kitchen sink products and things for teenagers who don’t read labels. ‘Kitchen sink’ is when a company throws in a little of everything, but not enough to DO ANYTHING, into a supplement.
Their overhyped vitamins and other supplements sucked in the 1980’s. They suck now.

I agree completely. 'Nuff siad.
I’ve used both AnimalPak and Stak2…In fact, I still have an unopened can of Stak2 that has been sitting around for a while. As for AnimalPak, I can’t comment on whether or not it was a “more effective/beneficial” multi. I stopped using it because I got tired of swallowing 11 horse pills everyday.
As for Stak2, I can honestly say that I seemed to notice a very tangible improvement in my recovery time between workouts. And it also gave me a pretty noticeable “boost” in the gym. Unfortunately, I also experienced a very tangible dull pain in my balls (which I’ve never experienced prior) while taking it. Thus, the reason for the still-unopened second can. I may actually work up the nerve to use that second can here in a couple weeks prior to starting a new training program.
Tried M-Stak—horrible stuff. The only th ing i got out of it thats good was a more energized workout…that and bad taste, a shitload of worthless pills to take, and a stomach ache, oh…and a waste of money.
Animal Pak is an expensive, but good multi-vitamin. If you have the money and don’t mind swallowing all the pills, I think it is worthwhile.
I got some results from Stak2. For what it costs, its probably worth a can to see if you get results as well.
I got noting from M-Stak.
People on this thread will say what they want, but peoples bodies react different to different stimulus. I would not take anyone’s word as gospel when it comes to how you will repond. But, the Stak2 is a pretty mild supplement, so you’re not taking any big risk trying it.
Thought I would throw up another comment on this…I’m in the middle of my second week on Stak2 (this is the second time I’ve used the product in about 18 mos.) I have to say that I am experiencing a very discernible improvement in my recovery time using it. I’m in the second week of TBT (with a fourth day added in to address weaknesses) in addition to sprint intervals on “off” days. Typically, when I incorporate sprint intervals into any training schedule, I feel fairly “beat up” later in the day and certainly the next day when I’m scheduled to be in the gym. Just thought I’d share my experience.
