U.S. Hegemony on the Decline

As have I… i’ve been on this forum for years. To insinuate I’m not well travelled is laughable given i’ve detailed numerous times on here my history with travel, moving countries etc.

And what makes you qualified to call the shots?

You speak of liberal degeneracy and simultaneously tell stories of sleeping with scores and scores of women, selling heroin, your username is ‘roidmonkei’ thus I’m assuming you are a steroid user.

What on earth makes you think you qualify as being an individual who is ‘above liberal degeneracy’?

Im not qualified to. Thats why democracy is retarded.

Find me an autocracy with a population that genuinely reports a high quality of life.

The only form of autocracy that seems to mediate “ok” outcomes is a benelovent dictatorship.

Even then… young people are leaving Singapore in droves.

The Gulf states are pretty nice, low crime, strict rules, low taxes. Several African countries are chill. People leave these places because the US empire and the Euopean block of former empire became the richest places on earth from centuries of plunder and are still the dominant powers.

Its the same reason Africans and Europeans poured into Rome.

Will respond later

But I disagree… Saudi Arabia, Iraq etc are not nice places to live.

Saudi Arabia is cleaner, richer and safer than anywhere in the US.

Russia has extremely high rates of rape and domestic/child abuse. Also high rates of alcoholism and addiction. It’s not the “traditional” utopia people make it out to be.

United States of America 38.2 per 100k

Russia 5.82 per 100k

Americans are out raping Russia by a fuck tonne Bro.

The US is a spreader of gay rights, feminism, atomized capitalism and modernity. Theres something to hate for everyone. How the US managed to bungle its short time as the world empire is astounding. Arabs loved America, hell Nasser and various others loved Kennedy and America. They somehow alienated the Arab world by siding with Israel and supporting secular dictator puppets.

They pissed off the former colonial powers by neutering them and thus losing any real potential ally in the following century after their rise. They managed to lose all the good will in the African developing world for their policies regarding support for coups and resource exploitation and they meddled and killed so many people in Latin America they had to stop directly meddling and lost any respect they had.

America was actually genuinely liked. Thats what is crazy. Its so astounding how popular America was in every part of the world than now hates it. It could of used that goodwill to create an empire that lasted thousands of years and forged a truly astounding global system. Instead its stumbled into one calamity after the other and bungled every evil and immoral war its embarked on.

I doubt the US will be the global hegemon in the next 200 years. Muslim world will likely unify back into a caliphate. Asia will see a huge decline and then a restructure, Europe is consolidating into a power block and African development will likely see some form of power block with teeth emerge.

Wish I could take a peak into the world 500 years from now and see how it looks.

Without modern technological and medicinal advancements, I’d be either crippled or dead (likely the latter). While there is a lot to despise about modern culture (the age of narcissism etc), there is also a lot to be thankful for.

Granted sometimes I wish I hadn’t been born… I’ll never have kids (even if I could) as the chance of passing on a connective tissue disorder associated with higher rates of premature mortality and undue suffering is too high.

If I’d have survived birth (three months premature), I’d be 100% crippled without modern medical technology.

As to ‘gay rights’. I wish people would separate the LGB from the TQIGSDJKFNDSJKASFSBKJJ+. The TQI side of the spectrum has nothing to do with the LGB side of the spectrum, and they’re the ones propagating 99% of the radical ideology. You’ll find that there is a growing number of homosexuals who no longer support the ‘gay’ community. Look up “Amir Odom” for reference on what I’m talking about.

I’m heterosexual (disclaimer), however my view on the ‘LGBT’ topic is similar to his. There is a fundamental difference between the LGB and the TQIA+ stuff. LGB is simply about who you are attracted to. Do you like members of the same sex? Do you like members of both… When I say sex, it simply means "do you like people with penises (men) or people with vaginas (women).

The TQIA+ portion of the community is generally the portion pushing the “drag queen story time”, “transitioning for minors”, “men competing in womens sport” style of nonsense. These people have nothing to do with homosexuals, and why they’re lumped in (especially intersex… a disorder you are born with… hermaphroditism… and asexuality?) is beyond me. They’re making the gay community look bad…

The LGB spectrum pushed for the end of legal persecution based on sexual orientation. There’s a good book that I’ve read called the deviants war that explains the homosexual lifestyle/culture during the 1950’s and the events that led up to the stonewall riots.

A fallacious notion is that these were deviants who wanted to be violent for the sake of pushing a radical agenda unto the general populace. No… these people were treated like shit without good reason, subject to arrests, beatings, imprisonment for having sex behind closed doors. This has nothing to do with what you’ve said or what you believe in, I’m making conversation.

The radical agendas we are seeing pushed revolving around trans people and whatnot has NOTHING to do with the LGB portion of the spectrum. I know homosexual people (just about every homosexual I know actually) who are vehemently against the radical agendas being pushed. They think it’s absurd…

I think the gay community will eventually split off from the trans community. Trans has nothing to do with homosexuality. It should be it’s own thing

Homosexuality in the past was associated with rampant promiscuity. This was a time when gays had to meet up in dingy bathrooms and bars. In todays day and age, and in my country… gay bars and nightclubs are shutting down and becoming less popular. The homosexual community (at least where I am) is generally sleeping around less, opting for long term monogamy.

If you look at a box plot of the mean number of partners the average homosexual has had TODAY… the median number is equitable to that of the number of partners the average heterosexual individual has. You’ll find one or two outliers however that have slept with hundreds of members of the same sex.

Back in the day, promiscuity was absolutely rampant (watch the 1980 film cruising as an example).

I don’t really care about the promiscuity, although I find it gross… HIV is largely a thing of the past, and a cure will be present soon (already is somewhat present with gene editing technology). Various people with HIV have managed to suppress viral load to zero (in theory can’t transmit). Those who lament this development are more concerned about morality as opposed to public health outcomes. I harbour a great deal is resentment towards people who look at these developments as if they are a bad thing.

Whether you agree with homosexuality, promiscuity etc or not. Being able to cure something like HIV is a great step forward as it relates to a potential cure for future transmissible and non-transmissible disease. If you wish to block research or deter people from finding cures like this… conditions akin to the medical ailments I have to suffer from day in and day out will never be cured.

ISIS UNITE! jokes aside, that’d be terrible for me (Jewish). In the past, jews and Muslims had decent relations… Too much tension now.

However I’ve noticed it is only the radicals who really have an issue with Jews. I’ve sat down and spoken with SO many Muslims… we have no beef with one another, even if we don’t see eye to eye with the Israel situation. However, with the new borderline fascist government in power, for the first time I’ve turned my back on supporting Israel.

Have you ever noticed the

alt right and radical islam have a lot of overlap in terms of conveyed ideology… yet they hate one another?

I’m in agreement with you that there are a number of decent African countries. There is a common misconception that the entirity of Africa is a shithole. Go to Tunsia and tell me it’s a shithole… It’s a developed country, though it is democratic… The shithole countries in Africa (say DRC, Somalia etc) are either autocracies or they’re ruled by de-facto militias and plagued with civil warfare and instability. Typically mediated by conflicts that have been going on for decades if not hundreds of years.

It’s a shame considering how rich Africa is re natural resources. I’ve only been to South Africa and Morrocco. SA is both first and third world at the same time… If that country got it’s shit together it’d be the bomb diggity to live there.

I don’t think US will be global hegemon in 200 years either. I was thinking either China (nooooo) or Europe (yayyyyyy).

Like the plot of futurama.

(233) My concerns with the LGBTQ community. - YouTube

Depends on where you get your statistics from. Around 70% of Russian women claim to have experienced some form of sexual harassment, violence or intimidation.

Polling from autocratic countries generally tends to be skewed in favour of making the country look better.

Saudi Arabia purportedly has low rates of sexual assault under Shariah Law. This in practice isn’t the case despite what stats say. For the longest time, criminal sanctions were imposed against women speaking out against rapists.

The rate of rape and sexual assault in Saudi isn’t low by any means.

Was it Aristotle who said some people were born to be slaves?

Thanks for providing me with information about how bad is China.

I’ve never thought of moving to China and I’m not going to. Hence my question of why I, as an American, should be concerned by how it handles its business, and I don’t think anyone has ever given me an adequate reason for this. I’m not fond of how many places are, from what I’ve been informed about, but for most cases I don’t care.

I don’t want to move to any country and will likely only do so if America descends into intolerable conditions or civil war, which I don’t think will happen soon, and in the latter case I would likely stay and fight if not too old when it occurs.

Is it not implied that when many people use the word modern, post-modern, and modernity that they aren’t referring to technology and medicine? When someone speaks or writes about how he dislikes modern architecture, is he implying he wants to do back to caves and huts?

And the relatively few who are against such are hypocritical anyway considering they use both.

I’ve heard various people talk about the superior infrastructure of China compared to the U.S. Better airports that shame the U.S. Bullet trains there waiting to take you away when you land. And filling them is not a problem.

Yes the U.S.S.R. is no longer. It fell due to economic warfare and their government capitulating to oligarchs of that country.
And China is much more economically powerful as the U.S. which has moved into the end stage of capitalism. Curious what are the GDP growth of both the U.S. and China? 2.27 U.S. and 6.90 China. And China has a population of 4.35 times that of the U.S. It is just a matter of time before the U.S. loses it’s authority around the world. In fact, it has already begun as the world is flirting with using different currencies as the world currency.

China is an emerging superpower seemingly focused on exponential gain and territorial expansion.

They’re playing a slow game… but it’s working.

Americans are all too fixated on their own stupid culture wars, focusing on what I percieve to be dumb fringe topics.

Economic prosperity and creating opportunities for younger generations should be Americas number one focus right now.

Because while everyone is quibbling and quabbling over these polarising topics, China is playing the long game… devising devious plans involving infrastructure and resource management to outwit other first world nations

Most countries are already insanely reliant on China when it comes to importing materials, technology, building infrastructure (look up the belt and road initiative).

You should care about China because neither of us want to live under the rule of the CCP.

So in the face of certain death or saving your family and living in Europe or something… you’d choose certain death…?

I just don’t see the logic behind that decision.

Theres a reason why war is predominantly fought by young men in their early 20s.

  • more impulsive demographic, more likely to want to fight/feel as if they have something to prove
  • they don’t… have… families…

Is that profile pic you currently? You look like one of those Roman/Greek statues  @BrickHead

Look up the herculies statue.

Thank you.

The photo is from 2016, about a week and a half out, and as I’ve said, I’m never doing that again.

I believe they generally don’t care about this and Americans as a whole do not care about the well-being of future generations and perhaps unknowingly (they’re not good with foresight, only with what sounds nice), support things that are ruining generation Z and Alpha (my children’s generation), and will ruin future generations.

American average IQ is dropping, which doesn’t lend to showing the world who’s boss or getting serious things done either.
