U.S. Hegemony on the Decline

I think she’d be a lesbian at that point…I know there are both L and G letter folks, so I assume there’s a difference. I can’t be sure, because I’m also

You do not have free health care if you do not work. The taxes are very low, you can pay them by yourseld. However the medical system is shitty as fuck.

So the free healthcare is not free and is shitty. The majority of the companies offer to workers additional healthcare insurance, which allows you to pick the best of what is available. And trust me it is bad as well. The rich people here go to Turkey when they need more serious medical assistance.

For dental work, people go to Slovenia in Europe. So talk about non private healthcare, please do.

I don’t know all these terms and they seem to add more daily and change them.

Oh well, I’m just an old fashioned redneck.

I walked into an ER and had my appendix removed with 5 hours from check-in to waking from surgery a few year back. I don’t remember how much we paid out of pocket, which is to say it wasn’t a lot or I’d remember. 2 kids with 4 or 5 total nights in the hospital and again I don’t even recall the out of pocket cost.

This system is fucking bullshit.

And i thought you were a hillbilly,

Haha you will laugh at this.

Most of my family is from the MS delta, but I was born in Baltimore. I lived there until I was almost 10. My dad was a CIA agent for 15 years under Bush SR. and Clinton.

Lol close but he looks more like Gary Busey.

That’s unfortunate

He is a hell of a shot though and has the crazy look to him

In his role, he had mandatory weapons training every 2 weeks and a mandatory polygraph test every month.

I held a top secret / crypto clearance during his tenure as everyone in the house with him had to. (I was a kid)

Shame he got taken down by Riggs. I thought he had him.

My sister-in-law is a dentist, and roughly 40% of her clients for more extensive dental work are Americans. Apparently it comes out cheaper for them even with a transatlantic flight, a hotel stay and paying the full price for non-EU citizens.

I’m not sure how that squares with the experiences listed above.

My dental work is cheap with my insurance. I haven’t had implants or extensive dental work done though. I don’t know anyone who has that goes elsewhere.

I’ve heard and know of people that have gone to Mexico for cosmetic surgeries and weight loss surgeries like the bariatric sleeve there too because it was cheaper.

But not surprising, at this point.

People go bankrupt all the time under the for-profit “healthcare” system.

.
Not to mention how many deaths are caused by this system with it’s insane affordability.

Fucking awesome!

Your inability to put forth a cohesive argument is truly impressive.

Bwhahha… another economically indoctrinated soldier who believes that funding for programs comes from taxation. Bwahahahaha!!!
Yeah, kinda like they did for the 100-125+ billion sent to Ukraine. Maybe you can explain that?

So volunteering my time at a food bank provides zero benefit to society? My donations provide another zero benefit to society

But it happens all the time under capitalism. I know you probably wail against this with equal vigor as social programs.

This would occur under any system. Only the misery wouldn’t be as great under a real democracy instead of an oligarchy. Ballot initiatives bare this out.

As if I care what you believe.

Like capitalism.

So give up and don’t try. That is your remedy?
