sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things and are moving forward.
my only thoughts would be that your testosterone is on the high side which by itself will strain your adrenals… but stopping cold turkey and just letting your system crash is rarely a good idea.
have you considered cutting back you t-dosage by 50% and see how you do?
Purechance,
I have been in the last month doing 100mg per week and there was no change. I started at 100mg per week for two months or so, moved to about 150 for a couple months, then 200 for about a month all with no difference in how I felt, then went back to the 100mg dose thinking as you think, do this and do the cortisol and thyroid treatment for the next three months or so until rT3 is cleared.
It is possible I was straining my adrenals with the T dosage, however I have felt no difference except the delayed onset muscle soreness, however in the last month I have suspended my workouts on the advice of getting my adrenals and thyroid stable before resuming my exercise.
I have currently not missed a scheduled pin of testosterone as that is scheduled for tonight, but my thinking is that it has not done anything for me in almost a year of trying to ‘dial’ myself in. I have thought that it is possible that it is preventing me from being worse than I am and maybe helping with maintenance, but I am open for discussion on this one. So my thought was to wait until adrenal and thyroid are balanced and strong and if I still don’t feel well, then add testosterone at that point.
Are you suggesting to going to 50mg per week? What is your thought on doing this if I have never really had any benefit?
Thanks for contributing to my case and all the others you help folks out with.
Thought I would chime in on an update and a bit of a mystery.
I have been doing T3 for three weeks now, titrating up 6.25mcg every five days with stable temperatures, still recording 97.9 avg per day and I am now taking 100mg Adrenal cortex supplement in morning to strengthen morning cortisol levels. It is still early but I think I am starting to notice a positive change in my energy, brain fog, body heaviness in the mornings.
I suspended my testosterone injections as I was not noticing any benefits from their use, and then when I stopped, I noticed no difference in how I felt. One week after stopping, I decided to do one week of HCG with AI, dosing HCG at 500iu the first day followed by six days of 250iu with about 1.5mg adex spread over the week.
Knowing that I am doing the T3 during this time still trying to clear out my rT3, still no temperature rise, but this has resulted in me feeling better and my libido improved dramatically. Again, still too short a period to make any conclusions.
My question is relative to the HCG use only with the AI and no Testosterone, would there be some plausible explanation as to why this has me feeling better when the use of T, HCG and AI never achieved this? Do you think that the HCG is getting my gonads or body to produce something I need more than just T?
I will update in a couple weeks or so as I stopped the HCG four days ago.
My first blood test since stopping TRT and starting T3 and Adrenal cortex treatment to lower rT3.
I have generally felt better when my temperatures avg above 98.1 but as of yet I have not been able to get to an avg temperature higher without crashing down, literally my temps and how I feel correlate perfectly.
I have been taking iron, krill oil, b complex, C, D3 and B12, and T3 currently at about 75mcg
My cholesterol and triglycerides have gone down, but my ferritin went up and iron down.
without TRT, my total T looks good but the Free T was lower.
I feel much better when my temps are up, so I am working to get the adrenal support and T3 and Iron doses coordinated to get my temps up.
Without the T, I do get more DOMS.
Any feedback welcome.
I am raising Iron, raising adrenal cortex and will attempt gradual adjustments in T3 to symptoms and temperatures

From my discussions on the Adrenal website they are suspecting my high ferritin levels are coming from some source of inflammation going on in my body. They have tossed out possible causes to be anything from ‘low T3, high glucose, low B12, low Vitamin D, celiac, gluten intolerance, food sensitivities, autoimmune gastritis, h.Pylori, dehydration, environmental toxins, gum disease and more.’
I do not have high glucose, gum disease, low Vit D or B12 as these were tested, it is not dehydration, but could be the others.
They are suggesting that the inflammation keeps my serum Fe levels low.
Any suggestions welcome. I have not been able to get my temperatures up without crashing my temperatures in some form or another.
I am taking 500mg adrenal cortex and can get to 75mcg T3 without any problem.
Thanks
