TT is 1353, I Don't Feel Different

Considering the fact that your natural production is shut down when you start TRT, your going to feel like shit (even worse than pre-TRT) from day 5 to 14 on every injection.

You mean if I start a new protocol or how do you mean? Since it’s almost two weeks since my last injection I feel quite shitty.

The admin didn’t really let me get a word in edgewise about SHBG or much else. It’s telling, though, that there are a lot of tests that weren’t ordered before starting this protocol, including SHBG and thyroid tests.

Everything I’ve encountered in my own research says that, if thyroid levels are off, TRT won’t work.

I am supposed to receive a call from the doctor to go over a protocol change. The best they’ll probably be able to do is once per week injection. I feel like it would be better than getting slammed with 300 mg at a time.

The admin I spoke to said that, if I lowered my dose on the once every two weeks protocol from 300 to 200 mg it wouldn’t be effective, which is funny because after twelve weeks on this protocol that’s what would happen unless my levels were still lagging.

If I didn’t have to be real careful with money right now I would have gone to Defy already.

What were pre trt labs? Any other lab work besides the above? Two conclusions based on the limited info: You need time to stabilize and should get on a better protocol to accomplish that, ie more frequent but reduced injections, like 40-50mgs test twice per week. The second possibility is that low T wasn’t the root cause as to why you were feeling shitty, but a symptom of something else. Could be a million different things. Reactivated Epstein bar virus, tbi, thyroid issues, leaky gut/chronic inflammation etc.

What I think is that the low T was probably a side effect of to much T4 thyroid medication. An overactive thyroid by itself may raise T levels but being overmedicated lowers T directly and/or possibly by raising cortisol, but I haven’t had a cortisol test.

From 8/26

TSH. 0.03. LOW
FT4. 1.6. Ref range 0.8-1.8
TT. 306
BT. 60.1. LOW Ref range 110-575 bioavailable T
FT. 27.5. LOW Ref range 46-224
SHBG. 49. Ref range 10-50

As a testament to how foolish my doctor is, he ordered FT4 but not fT3. Being overmedicated probably raised my SHBG to borderline too much, while lowering my fT.

You’re wasting time on a protocol that is proven to not work, you might as well take your money and insert it into a paper shredder. If you showed this study to your wannabe hormone doctor, even he would know the gig is up.

Even if your thyroid was perfect, this TRT protocol would still fail. 6 days after an injection levels drop below the therapeutic range which is seen on figure 1 graph, B in the study below. By day 14 you are back in low T land and you have another week and a half to go before another injection.

You wonder why you don’t feel any different, everything these fake doctors think they know is WRONG!

12-year old study shows injections every 2 weeks doesn’t work.

You know the drill. These guys really believe what they believe and no amount of reason will persuade them.

That’s because I think younger folks trust Drs.
When you get older like me, I do not trust any. I check and recheck everything. I’ve seen to many mistakes.
I have teenage twin boys because I questioned the obgyn …switched obgyn like we switch trt Drs. And thank God I did or my sons would not have been born.

Flew from ny to Tampa to get a Dr to do surgery on the placenta. for my wife of course

Sorry for the confusion. That statement applies to the protocol you’re on now (300mg E2Weeks)

@systemlord you’re absolutely right. Where I live my income is very seasonal and I’m not in a good place financially until season hits, which is soon.

Any idea how long it would take me recover from not getting my scheduled injection? I mean, I feel like shit and I understand that, without TRT, I may not make enough testosterone to feel great, but before this protocol I felt a lot better than I do now.

Do you think going another week or two without an injection that my body will start to recover? Or, are we talking longer, 4-6 weeks? I appreciate any help . Thank you.
