The meteorologist Rob something for CNN needs to slow down on the coffee before covering weather disasters lol. Fuck he’s annoying.
CNN does have the hottest babes behind the mic though.
What was this thread about again?

A regular poster here named Pimpbot lives in Japan, hope he’s allright.
The footage is unreal.

LOL… though I feel a bit guilty laughing.
I work for the Canadian Red Cross and everyone in the office is gearing up for the huge appeal that’s going to happen. Guess who’s probalby going to end up working all weekend taking donations and answering phones?
Not that that was a complaint, it’ not. I like being in the humanitarian sector.

Bless you, Stu.
Holy hell
8.8 6th biggest earthquake EVER
Fire at a Nuclear reactor but apparently that’s under control now
300 people dead in one city
Watch the footage. There are literally no words to describe it
One ray of light is that the Japanese seem the most prepared to react to this disaster and everything seems under control as much as it possibly can be

this looks like your fault. great going, dick! Why couldn’t you hit some country know one cares about, like australia or something?
Is this a sign that Japan’s rulers have lost their Mandate of Heaven?
CHUSIN -
You OK bro?
Strung out, where in Cali you at? Looks like alot of beach cities are getting fucked up from the waves coming to the Cali coastline.
Anyone heard from OsakaNate? I hope he’s alright; he sent me some really good stuff about drumming.
I just talked to my dad down in Santa Cruz. Apparently most of the area was hit, but not too hard. Except for the harbor; he said that the whole harbor looked like it went from lowtide (which is where the tide was at when the tsunami hit) to extreme high tide in the course of a minute or two. When all the water drained out of the harbor he said it looked like a small river, then 5 minutes later the whole place was flooded and dozens of boats had been torn from their docks. Fucking wild.

If he’s in Osaka, he should have been unaffected. I’ve got family and friends in Japan. I’ve heard back from all of them. Phone coverage is down in the affected areas and we had to rely on Skype and Facebook to confirm that everyone was ok. A few of my friends there are stranded at work with no public transportation functioning. Others of my friends are driving around helping out where they can and picking up the stranded among them.

By the end of it all, a lot of people will be needing a lot of help. I live about 300km away and we still felt tremors.

I’m in San Diego, but in the east county. I was trying to find out from my brother if he had any big waves where he lives in Manhattan Beach.
Things are pretty crazy. Still getting aftershocks as I type this. Power came back on at my place (a little north of Tokyo) around midnight last night. Hard to sleep at all last night b/c the aftershocks kept coming. But I must be okay, because I’m back here on T-Nation.
I just hope my hometown of Winnipeg is safe!
Also, go to Google and tell me that the new Google logo doesn’t look like a Google-tsunami…what were they thinking???

Ah ok, I am up in LA. People in HB were disappointed, so the waves might not be as big as people had hoped.

And because you have Clay Matthews (former Trojan) as your avi.
chusin and Cortez… are you guys OK??
I’m watching some of the vids, and looking at the pics. It is insane, I wish I could be there physically to help. It almost looks like a movie/end of the world or something. this kind of motivates me to get on to some federal agency search and rescue team. but I dream…
