Trump: The Third Year

I agree for the most part. Really no one should lose if the economy stays hot. Especially an incumbent President. Since Trump has and still can shoot himself worse than anyone else can it may be a game worth watching.

Shouldn’t be though. Average Joe Republican is 15 points higher in approval ratings than Trump.

Even though it won’t happen…I think the the DEMS best strategy would be to not get it twitter/pissing matches with Trump. The gutter is his territory…and if the DEMS choose to fight there…they will lose…and lose big.

Trump also has an advantage that other candidates don’t have; he can do or say just about anything with impunity, with very little political damage done to his unwavering base. This is simply unprecedented.

The name is “Kiryat Trump” or, English, “Trump Town.”

There’s a ton of towns, streets, whatever named after famous/aspirational people from other countries – George Washington, Lincoln, Schindler, Jacqueline Lamberty.

I used to live by Master Sgt. Christian Roddie Edmonds Square (Google him).

Great story!

Thanks, @Jewbacca.

Israel, as a nation, knows we exist as a people and a nation because of G-d and non-Jewish people like Master Sgt. Christian Roddie Edmunds, of blessed memory. May G-d bless him.

And really flawed people like Oskar Shindler, who had that critical spark of G-d, somewhere in his con-artist heart. A spark which grew.

And even Trump.

So we honor them. Or perhaps we honor the small spark.

I fully admit having too much bias when it comes to Trump, @Jewbacca

I suppose I question the sincerity of Trump’s “spark”, and of Netanyahu’s motives.

With the political climate where it currently is in Israel…do you think the Knesset will go along with the resolution?

  1. I never try to predict what the Knesset does. It lacks even less logic than the USA Congress.

  2. That said, Trump is extremely popular in Israel, mainly in comparison to the openly-anti-Semitic Obama and his minions. The huge part of the recent election was about who was closer to Trump, with all sides putting up billboards showing this leader or that leader shaking his hand. So it’s more likely than not.

Note, Bush, Clinton (Bill), Kennedy and numerous other US presidents have been honored in various ways in Israel. The only two absent have been Carter and Obama, both of which clearly wanted us to die – or, if they didn’t WANT us to die, were so stupid as to pursue policies that would cause us to die. Either way, bad.

Makes sense. (Sorry to hear that any legislative body could be more dysfunctional than the U.S. Congress…)

Thanks!

As someone from the US, this is the first I have heard of this. How was the Obama administration anti-Semitic?

  1. I said “Obama”, not the Obama Administration, although there were plenty of other antisemites in the Obama Administration. Subtle, but important distinction.

  2. There are literally thousands of examples of Obama mainstreaming antisemitism into the current Democratic party. Start with his preacher of 20 years Jeremiah Wright and work your way forward. I get it that the US media was very proactive in hiding this, but you apparently have access to the internet. Type in “Obama Anti-Semite” into your favorite search engine (preferably not Google, since they modify unfaltering search results – you should use duckduckgo.com to avoid the algorithm.

And you’ve got extreme right wing conspiracy theories. You could also do a search with “Obama lizard” and get the same results.

For a supposedly anti-semitic US President his alleged desire to destroy the State of Israel manifested itself through increased arms sales to Israel and a few timid absentions when it came to vetoing UN resolutions. And no, the Iran Nuclear Deal was not antisemitic.

It’s not like he pandered to white supremacists which emboldened them to attack synagogues…

I believe Obama was a political churchgoer. Meaning he knew he had to be a member of a christian church to be electable. I don’t think he attended very much, and as soon as the Jeremiah Wright stuff came out, he distanced himself ASAP.

Tried searching “Obama Anti-Semite”, but really only sites suggesting he was antisemitic were far right sites. The ones that came up were: The Federalist, The National Review, NY Post, etc. One article that I found from a center source “The Hill” mostly just talked about Obama condemning antisemitism.

I am not saying you are wrong, just that I don’t think you have given me sufficient evidence to believe your claim.

Bwop. You even quote it.

Nor will anyone.

Obama sure was fuckin terrible at this. Especially considering he held more power over Israel than any foreign man on the planet during his tenure.

The US needs to be careful when it comes to labeling things as antisemitic. It seems to me that if a democrat says anything negative about Israel it will be labelled as antisemitic by the republicans, even if that criticism is fair.

Suggesting that the US support of Israel is all about the money is either a correct or incorrect. It is not in any way antisemitic.

That is not true. I have changed my mind many times. I think more than most people do. I used to be a conservative voting christian. I am a liberal atheist now (other than wanting a balanced budget, which neither party will give me).

I have changed my mind when others can convince me I am wrong. For now I do not believe Obama was antisemitic. If evidence is presented that suggests otherwise, I would have to consider it.

It’s a very dangerous concept that’s ultimately detrimental to Israel. The current right-wing narrative expects nothing else than a 100% alignment between an US administration and Netanyahu’s government. How can interests of two countries be completely aligned on all issues? Aren’t even close allies allowed some form of mild disagreement?

Meanwhile, real antisemitism is flourishing - whether it’s the white supremacists with their 1930s tropes or the cartoonish Muslim version of antisemitism originating from the Middle East that’s making it’s way into mainstream political discourse.

They will need equal care with almost all labelling. Sexism, racism, etc

Society has definitely taken a dive lately.

You wouldn’t say that if you’d actually researched what he’s talking about.

The only people that genuinely believe Obama was trying to kill Israel with his antisemitism are the ones that didn’t really need any proof to convince them as such.

It’s become a political litmus test. Every US leader either wants Palestine or Israel to die. Middle ground doesn’t exist

This is what I figured TBH, but maybe just maybe he had some real evidence that he would like to share that might change my mind.

Articles from The Federalist and National Review are not going to cut it.

Agree here.

You might want to read the manifestos of the shooters. The one from this Passover is here:

Note the Q& A:

“Are you affiliated with any political ideology?”

Yes. It’s called not wanting to go extinct.

  • “Are you a conservative?”

I am not a useless, spineless coward so no—I am not a conservative. Conservative is a misnomer. They conserve nothing. They’ll complain all they want but they won’t take up arms and threaten their government with death (the only thing that works). Ever heard about the Battle of Athens (1946)? Find your balls again you insufferable faggots. If you do not defend your rights you deserve none

“Are you a Trump supporter?”

You mean that Zionist, Jew-loving, anti-White, traitorous cocksucker? Don’t make me laugh.
