Maybe someone should start a White Lives Matter Group.
“•In 2013, of the approximately 660,000 crimes of interracial violence that involved blacks and whites, blacks were the perpetrators 85 percent of the time. This meant a black person was 27 times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa. A Hispanic was eight times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa.”
And This Pretty Much Says It All:
"•In 2015, a black person was 2.45 times more likely than a white person to be shot and killed by the police. A Hispanic person was 1.21 times more likely. These figures are well within what would be expected given race differences in crime rates and likelihood to resist arrest.
•In 2015, police killings of blacks accounted for approximately 4 percent of homicides of blacks. Police killings of unarmed blacks accounted for approximately 0.6 percent of homicides of blacks. The overwhelming majority of black homicide victims (93 percent from 1980 to 2008) were killed by blacks."
No, no, no Legalsteel. You have to have proof that there is a direct line between person A being hired to start a fight with someone at a specific Trump rally. This is after all a court of law.
Just because people were hired to instigate trouble at a Trump rally…and just because when they were caught that suddenly there were no more fights at Trump rallies means nothing. Is that what we are to believe?
Seriously the Clinton machine was very serious about the narrative that Trump followers were thugs and “deplorables” so serious that they hired thugs and deplorables to instigate trouble to prove their narrative.
It’s actually comical.
So glad justice was done in the end. And what a bitter pill for the left to swallow.
If Trump brings back reinforcement of immigration laws that weren’t previously being enforced and embraces the “law and order” platform he spoke on, inner cities will improve by extension.
Why?
I think cops are frightened to go full throttle into black neighborhoods out of fear of having their lives destroyed from making the wrong split second decision. With a change of tone from the top attitudes will change and inner cities the laws will be better enforced.
Remember it’s people of color who call the police in poor neighborhoods to stop crime and save them from brutality
The American Renaissance is a white supremacist organization. From their website:
“AR has had a web presence since 1994, and we consider AmRen.com to be the Internet’s premier race-realist site.”
As for the ‘report’: The New Century Foundation is a racist think tank founded and funded by…The same people who produce American Renaissance.
“The New Century Foundation is an organization founded in 1994 known primarily for publishing American Renaissance. From 1994 to 1999 its activities received considerable funding by the Pioneer Fund, and has been described as a white supremacist group, which its founder, Jared Taylor, denies, calling it white separatist.”
As for the validity of the report itself, here it is effectively dismantled by the SPLC:
As a personal aside, I find it disturbing that people would cite openly racist organizations to make their points.
The SPLC is anything but “garbage.” You may disagree with their positions, but the fact is they have a long and noble history of defending the rights of the disenfranchised.
Including Maajid Nawaz & Ayaan Hirsi Ali on this list is an outrage. It severely diminishes whatever their historical reputation may be. Their subsequent defence of this steamy load is also mealy mouthed bullshit.
Please feel free to cite an example of a person or organization that 1) you consider to be reasonable in their/its attitudes, and 2) the SPLC has labeled a hate-monger.
“When contacted for comment, Heidi Beirich, a director of the Intelligence Project at the SPLC, told Yahoo News that Nawaz spread conspiracy theories about Muslims infiltrating places like Scotland Yard and television networks.”
Also via your source, a quote from the Nawaz supporter who launched the change.org petition to have Nawaz removed from the list:
“The claims of Nawaz spreading conspiracy theories are largely unfounded" [emphasis mine]
I’m sure the people that committed those crimes were convicted and locked up. If they weren’t being locked up, and walked free consistently I would be open to such. But just like you said below
Poor folks generally commit crimes. Blacks and Hispanics are disproportionately poor. Blacks and Hispanics happen to commit crimes against people that make up 70% of population. Surprising? No, It’d be a lot easier to find a white person to victimize vs a minority.
But what is also found in those lovely cherry-picked statistics that AMREN used is that Blacks victimized Whites 13.7% of the time and Whites victimized Blacks 10% of the time. The number is larger because of the obvious population difference. But there would be no agenda behind that.
This has nothing to do with police bias against Blacks though I will note from the same article by AMREN:
An unarmed black was therefore 5.6 times more likely than an unarmed white to be shot by police, and a Hispanic was 2.6 times more likely. There is no obvious explanation for why unarmed blacks were shot and killed at a white multiple that was twice that for armed blacks.
And from those same statistics that for 2015, police killings accounted for 9% of homicides of whites, and killings of unarmed whites accounted for .005% (not a mistake) of homicides. The overwhelming majority of white homicide victims (86 percent from 1980 to 2008) were killed by whites."
But once again this has nothing to do with police bias. And only goes to show that more Whites are killed than Blacks (495 vs 258) because they make up 70% of the population vs 13%.
start with the obvious : calling something a “hate group” is not an argument it’s a shaming tactic. If an idea or argument is bad, give it light and it will die on its own merit. That’s why I asked how this Amren site collected it’s data for Color of Crime.
Calling something “hate” is just a way to shut down conversations.
Yep there is no hate coming out of Ann Coulter’s mouth.
“This is a country created by white people…I am a Native because I am a descendant from settlers.”
“In 1960 whites were 90% of the country. The census bureau recently estimated that whites already account for less than two-thirds of the population and will be a minority by 2050. Other estimates put that day much sooner. One may assume the new majority will not be such compassionate overlords as the white majority has been.”
“There’s a cultural acceptance of child rape in Latino culture that doesn’t exist in even the most dysfunctional American ghettos. When it comes to child rape, the whole family gets involved.”
“And that’s another thing,” Coulter continued. “We all know where African-Americans come from, right? Africa is, in fact, their homeland. The whole world knows the story of how they got here – the whole slavery thing, bla bla etc. Don’t you think they’ve had enough of the American dream? Don’t you think it’s time for them to leave America to the people who actually made it great?”
“If I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”
“‘My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to The New York Times Building,’ The New York Observer quoted her as saying on Aug. 20, 2002. She clarified those remarks with RightWingNews.com: ‘Of course I regret it. I should have added, “after everyone had left the building except the editors and reporters.”’”
This, though, this is my favorite in light of current events:
“Rather than own up to their moral blindness to Soviet espionage, Democrats fired up the liberal slander machine, which would be deployed again and again over the next half century to the present day.”
