Trump: The First 100 Days

This is too silly for words. Sudan has the Nile too but it’s totally primitive.

In the late 19th century an American named William Henry Sheppard went to do missionary work in the Congo. Here are a couple of excerpts

Better tell that to Thomas Sowell.

Good article treco.

“When you look at the electorate, it’s pretty simple math,” Penn, now chairman of the Harris Poll, told host Tucker Carlson. “94 to 96 percent of Trump voters say they’re sticking with him. That would be 94-95 percent of 46 percent. About 10 percent of the people who didn’t vote for him approve of him … and realistically we are right back where we were on Election Day.”

Not the type of narrative that the Trump haters want to read. As was already posted according to a Washington Post poll if the election were held today Trump would not only win the electoral vote again but the popular vote as well.

Now I know that Trump has stumbled badly on some things. But what the Trump haters don’t understand is that the typical American voter is not paying that close attention to what’s going on. And they would realize this as well but “blind hatred” prevents these things from sinking in.

In the end the typical voter will be looking at the big picture. Is the pipeline being built? Are taxes lower? Do we have a conservative on the Supreme Court? Is there a wall being built on the Mexican border…

What goes on in between the big events is only for people who watch and read every move…and about 70% of the people are not paying attention.

Funny…very funny…

Obamacare is dead? . I wonder what its replacement will be… Hopefully something reasonable cost wise that actually covers stuff… IMO the ACA insurance was better than what I had before when private companies took turns running a train on my checking account but its gotten shittyer every year 4 sho…Anyone else here have Obama care? Meaning you buy it from the market place… Hopeful this doenst suck but then again its private insurance so they will always find ways to not pay out…

My sister, parents, 90% of wife’s family, etc. People that got a boost from Ocare love the fuck out of it. Then again, they’re a bunch of wacky left moochers.

What I would give to see a legit Obamacare usage breakdown by party.

I bet it’d be split just like some of our means-tested programs. Plenty of Republican’s use it I’m sure.

I dont think its mooching… If you dont get insurance through a employer then you gotta buy it somewhere. Im self employed so Ive been buying my own for over a decade. BTW I dont love it deductibles very high and not many choices… Plus the website and system is like Chinese algebra and nuclear physics had a baby… However its cheaper than calling a private insurance firm… I hope Trump care doesnt count being jacked juicy and tan AF as a pre existing condition or Im screwed.

Haha thanks

Financially high level dems probably vote dem for literally every reason except personal finances. If you’re question is “why do high earning dems vote dem?” then the answer is because they support something and feel it’s more important than the negatives of the party. The reason everyone assumed you weren’t seriously asking the question is because it’s so simple it sounded rhetorical.

Probably with the existence of every federal welfare program.
The government is too large and does too many things for too many people.
Entirely your opinion.

The left’s ideas do not work for you. For the people they’re aimed at, they work pretty well.

@zeb1

They must support abortion, or handing money generations of people who refuse to work. Okay I get it. They bought the liberal talking points. The touchy feely “we must help others” when we are not helping but actually hurting. As for abortion I understand that the majority of people now believe abortion to be wrong. But not the National Organization for Women, (NOW) who pours money into left wing politicians pockets in order to promote the hideous act of abortion.

While I don’t agree with that either I was referring to a national government run single payer insurance system which is no doubt right around the corner. Do you honestly think our forefathers would approve of any of this? We live in a world that has been turned upside down by exceptionally pour government.

Let me ask you a question, do you think the government is too small and does not do enough for people? Yes, or no?

Untrue, they either work for the entire body of people or they don’t. I challenged you to give me examples where the left has controlled major cities or states for a long period of time and they are financially successful. Where are they? Show me where the lefts ideas work for everyone. Show me where the lefts ideas grow an economy. Show me where the lefts idea actually work long-term.

Every where they have been tried they have failed.

Quite frankly, I don’t care what our forefathers would approve of. When I consider whether or not something is right or wrong, I don’t take into account the guessed feelings of really old dead guys that shared 25% of my values.

I think the government is too large for the amount of good it does (cost effectiveness). I believe if the immense amount of govt waste and corruption was stopped, we’d have so much more bang for our buck that the systems could remain in place at a HUGE cost decrease.

If that’s the definition of working, then no, I can’t give you an area controlled by the left. Can you give me an area controlled by the right? I’d be thrilled to see where they’ve established policies that are in the best interest of everyone.

And I have no doubt that the DNC would agree with you along with left wing Judges appointed by Obama. They spit on the constitution regularly. You are not in good company my friend.

What you have just said is what I have been saying. You cannot have a large AND effective government. Waste and fraud occur BECAUSE of the size of the government. We need to scale it back.

So we essentially agree.

Exactly, because left wing policies don’t work and they never have. They are based on emotion…not logic.

As society evolves, countries evolve. I’m in the best of company. I’m in the company of the future.

I don’t believe that we’re incapable of fixing as much waste as humanly possible. Will it be perfect? Probably not. Could it still be much better? Of course.

Taking every possible measure to limit govt waste is a great idea regardless of govt size.
