Trump: The First 100 Days

I’m sure the dumber people on this forum think they can adequately sum up Trump’s abilities in less than 100 days into his presidency.

I agree that people who say Trump has had the worst first 100 days of any POTUS are being ridiculous and hyperbolic.

"William Henry Harrison Sr. (February 9, 1773 – April 4, 1841) was the ninth President of the United States (1841), an American military officer, and the last president born as a British subject. He was 68 years, 23 days old at the time of his inauguration. He died of complications from pneumonia 31 days into his term… " [emphasis mine]

Here is what Trump promised by the first 100 days. Review his success on these issues on day 101.

Edit: It’s already mentioned in the OP

Hmmm. It’s still a close call.

Donald Trump did break one promise. He promised to stop tweeting after becoming president

I can’t explain why this is funny to me. He’s so worried about spillage, I can’t tell if its the grandpa coming out or he’s got a hot date later

Those are ticks or tells of some sort. Lots of people do things like that. I knew a guy that used to tap his cup then push it forward on the table every time he lied.

Some audio to hear what he’s saying would help understand those gestures better.

He could also have OCD. Given his quirkiness I’d lean toward that. I used to have an employee who would always touch his face during meetings. But he have to touch it an equal number of times on each side. After a short time I picked up the pattern and asked him about it when we were alone. He confessed he had OCD and everything always had to be even. He hated odd numbers. He was a good man but ended up leaving then coming back and leaving again…

It’s Probably nothing, everyone has quirks.

There are people on here who feel the need to rearrange the plate tree at their gym if they’re not stacked properly.

It’s probably the neurosyphilis.

Are u speaking from experience?

Hahahaa!

I know a guy that eats like that. Everything has to be in sets of two.

I have some odd ones myself with object placement and various other oddities.

I can’t squat unless the barbell uses the exact same brand of plates on both sides and there are an equal number of plates of both sides (one side can’t have 2 five pound plates with the other having a 10 pound).

That’s funny raj. I have to admit that I have one too. I can’t seem to vote for a left winger…oh wait that’s not a bad thing.

Especially if one likes to actually keep the money that they’ve worked hard for.

@zeb1, I thought you might find this an interesting read:

If you mean that we are all self indulgent anti social psychopaths because we want to keep more of our hard earned money I’d say that’s off base by a country mile.

As for anti social, speaking only for myself of course, I belong to three clubs and am a Deacon at my church. I also donate what anyone would call a good percentage of my income to various charities. We talked about one on this site recently. Not bragging about any of it. But you have to be careful making sweeping assumptions based on someone’s message board banter…IF that is what you are doing.

Since we are sharing reading material you may pick any one of the following 9 books:

For the record, I am not Bruce Gibney (author of the book). So you’ll have to ask him what he means–or read the book.

This guy was president of his church council:

I read the overview, and it looks awful familiar. Big money dude writes a 300 some odd page explanation/apology about what he did and why he shouldn’t have. Most likely includes some point at which he had a personal revelation, spiritual awakening, or come to Jesus moment.

Why do they feel the need to do that?

You recommended the book so I am asking you.
