Trump: Starting Re-Election BID

Because if he liked governing more than campaigning he’d go govern instead of campaigning? Then there’s the constant golfing.

I agree hate was a strong word. Probably better to rephrase that he simply likes campaigning more than governing. I don’t actually know if he enjoys it or not.

I see that I’ve missed the Mark Cuban discussion by a few hours, but I also have been thinking that he’s an interesting name, if he decides that he wants to throw his hat in the ring. I don’t think he will, but if he did, I’d give him a look.

I think we should just go right to Jeff Foxworthy and Kanye West. I mean, why wait for the inevitable?

Trump has flip flopped so many times it would be impossible to call him anything. Even at this second he fluctuates between a lefty far righty centrist on a daily basis.

Trump has absolutely no idea what he stands for and has zero principles. His only principle is tweet a lot

Foxworthy would be nowhere near as embarrassing as the tweeter in chief

That’s why I find him tolerable. As crazy as the guy seems to be his actual positions are about as close as I’ve seen to what I generally look for and have rarely found.

"Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reached out to a Kasich adviser after the Ohio governor ended his own Republican presidential campaign, promising that if he accepted the vice presidency, Kasich would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.

The adviser asked what Trump would be in charge of, the report said, and Trump Jr. responded: “Making America great again.” [emphasis mine]

It’s hard to tell if he likes to govern or not because he hasn’t started doing it yet.

Well shit man, who knew governing could be so difficult?

Perhaps more accurate to say that, by dint of his personality and lack of integrity, he is highly suited to standing in front of ardent supporters and engaging in co-dependent exchanges that both sides find highly gratifying.

The flip side being, these traits make him a singularly awful campaigner in other contexts.

Well it is pretty archaic. Nobody wants free speech and due process these days. They want to MAKE AMURICA GURT AGIN!

Lol, you’re probably right.

Lucky for all of us those positions can easily change in the blink of an eye. Nato obsolete then not. Won’t golf when I’m President, golfs a ton. China’s a currency manipulator and then not. We shouldn’t attack Syria and then we do. We shouldn’t attack Syria without congressional approval and then we do. Against the import bank now for it. Won’t make cuts to Medicaid then supports bill that will.

The dude had tons of flip flops BEFORE being elected. Dude has been in office for a while now and I have no idea what he actually thinks. Except for that it was important to tweet about Celebrity Apprentice.

Agree.

Save me a click.

Is it a secret source?
