So, your point is since it has never been proven that millions vote illegally then we don’t have a problem. Do I have that right?
I guess my response is how do you know that there is no problem if there is no ID check? Since no one is being asked to prove who they are some nefarious characters might be voting many times in many different polling places. No one can prove otherwise as we do not have a good system of voter ID laws.
This issue has been studied exhaustively, both by partisan and non-partisan organizations, as well as by the state-level entities responsible for election integrity. To the extent one can prove a negative, there is no evidence of widespread voting irregularities.
Damn, you lose again! Don’t buy any lottery tickets today, dude.
“In short, the official exit poll — which suggests that Trump did better with Latinos than Romney — is quite likely wrong. Official election results in thousands of precincts across Texas and most other Western states show that Latinos broke more strongly for Clinton than the exit poll suggests, and more strongly than they did for Obama in 2012.”
At any rate, if you feel that winning 18% of one of the fastest-growing demos in the country is the way to secure your electoral-college future, have at it.
If we had voter ID then we could actually demonstrate accurately if people were trying to beat the system. When there are no rules to a game how can one tell who is breaking the rules?
So that reminds me of all the accurate predictions about Trump. Oh. Wait. Never mind.
Another thought: I’m not for kicking people out who haven’t committed crimes, but you’re making a good argument for doing just that to the wrong people. It’s not just moderates hearing this. There’s only so many times a group can be threatened with getting bred out. You think some might reconsider their views in light of all the left wing rhetoric on this issue? It’s already backfired by helping get Trump elected, and yet you all are doubling down. You really want to push this? The right hasn’t gotten violent yet. And BTW, the right isn’t even in power (thank the god or goddess of your choice). You all keep making the extremist claims and we may very well see the rise of true extremism. It’s a thought that terrifies me.
Referring to our earlier arguement you said that more ID’s = more risk of fraud/counterfeiting. Seeing as Georgia passed a Voter ID law that was not struck down and allows a vast array of ID’s…you should commission a study to see if there is still voter fraud going on. Then we can determine if it’s effective.
Get your feelings hurt after being insulted for engaging in name calling? Poor baby. Maybe if you learned how to engage without the ad hominems the grown ups would play nice.
