Any well-informed Democrat understands that he’s here to swindle us all before imprisoning us, exterminating us, and declaring war on the continent. That’s why they are always out on the bridge with their signs and campaigning on stopping fascism.
For more local news, 21-year-old Mohammed Hussein Kamaluldeen was arrested outside of Biddeford High School with a rifle after a student saw him loading it. He was a student at the high school, but that’s about all of the information we have about it.
Thankfully nobody was injured, but this is exactly the kind of crime that the entire government in Maine does it’s best to keep as quiet as possible. Compare that to when unidentified men in masks show up to Kennedy Park to show that they are white supremacists and the entire media machine spins into gear, along with grandiose statements from the Mayor, other politicians, etc. I still think those guys were feds, as they were in way too good of shape to be actual white supremacists from New England.
It’s the same playbook in my back yard as it is across the entire western world. Amplify information that supports the narrative, diminish information that contradicts it. When the narrative crumbles in front of you, just call your opponents fascists and whip your base into a frenzy so that they are beyond all hope and reason.
It just might work if they can keep their grip on power in Maine, but it doesn’t seem to be trending in that direction at all. Voter ID in November is probably the most impactful vote in Maine’s history. If that very popular concept is somehow defeated, I will interpret it as a sign that Maine is cooked. Without rigged elections, the Democrats are cooked.

For as messed-up as Maine and especially Lewiston and our other larger cities are, I am optimistic as well. Trump is still an A- from me, if a C is simply meeting expectations. It’s almost like we’re a big, powerful, and productive nation that people would rather stay on good terms with.

Do you not think perhaps in ANY way shape or form the US staying out of most conflict, including forces that represented an existential threat to the USA emboldened Imperial Japan?
Peal Harbour fundamentally shifted American opinion on isolationism… many point to it as the tipping point for radical overhaul. It signified to the public that the US was no longer safe from foreign aggression, geographical makeup was no longer a deterrant as it had been in the past.
Do you think the US should wait until it is attacked before neutralizing existing threats that are growing in power/size as time goes on? The US is perceived as the worlds superpower and this is in part due to it’s militaristic prowess as well as it’s influence in geopolitical affairs. If the US just pulls out… everywhere… what does that look like for
A: Threats against the US/western world
B: US status as a solidified superpower. If the US returns to being insular, will it lose it’s status as the GOAT (as the US status of GOAT was solidified post WWII, post isolationist 1930s era)

People have been calling MAGA a cult for a long time now. It doesn’t seem like one to me at all, since most people involved can explain themselves fairly well.
Democratic Socialism, aka “woke”, is definitely a cult. This political movement exhibits all of the characteristics of the dictionary definition of the term. Like all cults, it is about control first, wealth extraction next, weird sex stuff after that, and then showering what’s left on the faithful and making them believe it is mana from heaven.
Like all forms of socialism, Democratic Socialism is a legalized comprehensive wealth extraction scheme run by dishonest grifters. Like it has for hundreds of years now, the USA leads the way for the rest of the world on how you identify and purge dishonest grifters out of public office.
If I’m wrong about that, I’ll be the first to admit it, but everything I can observe around me suggests we are in a remarkable political re-ordering for the benefit of all honest people, and nearly everyone else, too. If future events make a fool out of me, well, it won’t be the first time I’ve reconsidered my political views. If not, I think an awful lot of people are going to need to come to grips with the fact that they were wrong about an awful lot of stuff, and working in the service of a cult.
The whole idea can be a lot to get one’s head around. It was done to us, not by us.

The City of Lewiston has recently launched a full-scale propaganda campaign to “create a new narrative” for our downtown, which people have somehow concluded is no longer a nice place to live, run a business, or go to for any reason at all. This perception of downtown is due to people focusing on things like regular gunfire and not the lofty social visions of Maine Democrats. The focus of the propaganda is on the federal funds our politicians have secured for the city.
Unfortunately, reality has undermined the city’s propaganda efforts yet again. Yesterday, a job site for our “Choice Neighborhood Grant” housing project was terrorized when someone went up to the second floor and shot someone in the middle of the workday. That’s about all that is known right now. I will be curious to see if the police follow up on this with any public announcement or if it gets covered in the newspaper.
This isn’t the first incident at our federally-funded Choice Combat Zone, nor will it be the last. They aren’t even done building it yet, let alone packing it with imported needy people to serve as a reliable Democrat voting bloc.
