I love how old dudes boy toys back there get all animated and he feigns offended while ignoring the actual subject at hand, American taxpayers getting fleeced under the guise of “advancing american interests globally”.
That’s been going on for well over a century. And things like annexing Greenland, taking over Gaza, etc., are a continuation of it.

It still cracks me up to hear all of these people who’ve somehow become fabulously wealthy through public service tell us that a man who was wealthy before politics is the fascist, greedy liar who is out to rob us blind.

I also want everyone that has stolen money from the tax payers to be thoroughly bankrupted and jailed. These folks need to be made examples.
I would prefer execution honestly, but I would be satisfied with all their assets and wealth being stripped, publicly shamed, and jailed to never hold any office again.

If the scale of this grift is anything like what I expect it to be I want to see a message sent that won’t be forgotten for generations.
At this very moment federal tax dollars are being funneled to a nonprofit in Maine who are actively working to undermine federal immigration law. They are almost entirely funded by federal grants.
Complete insanity.

I’m not one to judge that sort of thing. My dad worked for a mobster for a while, which has nothing to do with how I lived my life.

I wonder why Trump hasn’t gone after the private contractors to slash pork spending? That is where the most billing abuses will be found, everyone knows that, and they account for 12 percent of the budget.
Maybe because some guy named Elon M. (Last initial only, for security,) built his businesses on government money.
What’s the right answer? He inherited money that you believe was ill-gotten a long time ago and therefore…
Besides, it’s only been a few weeks. I have confidence that this administration will continue to do what it campaigned on, which could very well be looking at slashing other types of spending.
I’m very happy with everything I’m seeing with no major complaints at this stage.

The claims I have seen are around tax dodging and tax shelters.
Anyone who successfully fucks the IRS is a saint in my book. Even more so seeing what the feds do with tax money now.
True, but in worthwhile endeavors - rockets and cars. Not some LGBQT or woke bullshit. Or something that never even gets close to getting built or functional. Musk is no saint I am sure, but I would let him stand behind me before ANYONE in politics.
