Not edgy or accurate and i’m an Indian
Dude, it’s a meme. It’s not meant to be taken seriously or as historically accurate.
Dude…im joking
My bad. You’re hard to read sometimes.
This is pretty common. Meanwhile DEA, ICE, ATF, US Marshalls et cetera are all quietly active. I know Texas is different, but we get the same “official stories”, yet spend any time in south Texas and you’ll see every agency heavily represented. It’s like Men In Black with droves of blacked out Tahoes, marked Tahoes and dudes in suits who look like they would rather be in a fist fight for fun. Weird for a “nothing to see here” situation.
Your lady might be erroneously parroting shit she hears from the border, it’s entirely possible, but the cartels are a very real thing and would absolutely work through reservations. Relative autonomy and less scrutiny that way.
I do like that Trump’s picks are largely outsiders. I wouldn’t say she’s inept, but will hopefully be open to advising as she makes decisions.
Rarely serious… like never
Oh I know. And they are here - I’m not disputing that. Reservations in the southwest corner of the state provide a less disruptive route as they move drugs from Colorado to the northern states. They’re so remote it’s pretty easy to drive through and never see or be seen by anybody, especially at night.
My issue was that she specifically said tribes were working with the cartels. That’s a pretty bold claim to make if you can’t back it up. Tribes here frequently request for help from the FBI, US Marshalls and other federal law enforcement in combatting drug trafficking.
I am glad Trump won considering the alternative.
But, all his win did was kick the can down the road. 4 years will not be enough time to steer the ship back from disaster. Things will get slightly better the next 4 years - some maybe even drastically better. It still will not change the course that has been created by decades of idiocy.
The US has been in a soft civil war since 1913.
Two significant Amendments were ratified that year.
The 16th seemed necessary
The 17th I dislike.
I will take the bait…what happened in 1913?
I favor the opposite
get rid of the federal income tax
each state should decide its own senators
RFK used a McDs cheeseburger in his example of health knowledge and choice.
I wonder which RFK feels is more healthy the fries and bun or the beef?
I assume the bama click (MeShell and company) believe the bun is better choice, order a cheeseburger minus the beef. (While MeShell inhales a juicy 100 dollar burger behind the scenes).
The 17th Amendment facilitated the possibility there could be life long Senators. People of the state are regionally represented by their Representative. As long as they like their their Representative they can re-elect him or her.
Before the 17th Amendment Senators were chosen by the elected representatives of the state legislature. It kept a Republic feel to the elected leadership. Public name recognition was not a factor and money spent on an election was not a factor.
You agree, on the 17th, then, unless I misunderstand you.
FWIW, I don’t like either Amendment(edit: both contributed to fundamentally changing the U.S.).
No…i meant the people of the state to vote for the senators
however…it should go back to six years
I’ve been watching some of the RFK confirmation hearing, which was exactly what you’d expect, but made me curious - what would you do/prioritize if you were in charge of HHS?
Delegating to subject matter experts.
It’s a bureau/department head job.
You do, or else why post it?
RFK is an attorney who has Wikipedia level knowledge of the issues and science. But he’s a lawyer, and a Kennedy, so he will always believe he’s the smartest guy in the room. I hope he gets asked about Samoa and the measles vaccine.
Pocahontas Warren laid into him about it.
