Trump was a pro-peace president the first time. His rhetoric has been violent lately, but maybe he won’t act on any of it.
You might remember that very early on, some shit jumped off in yemen, and reportedly, Navy SEALS wiped out an entire family. Ended a terrorists bloodline.
That was a shit test. They (iran, houthis, who ever) wanted to see if he had any balls.
He has balls to spare in that regard, and they found out. That kept a lot of shit in check.
So, we’ll see. Its definitely a bad time to be a Houthi right now. The shipping channels Will be cleared.

From what I recall he wanted an end to war, with resolution, and worked to bring it to a close.
I would imagine hostage situations change things.
I’ve also noticed Presidents on both sides of the aisle often flip flop on war. I assume they’re briefed on intel none of us will ever see, and that they didn’t have access to while campaigning.

What’s different about Trump is that even before getting into office he’s trying to end the Ukraine and Gaza wars. I think he’s genuine about it, although he might not be successful. I also don’t believe he should be interfering in the Gaza war. There will be war in Palestine until either Israel or Palestinians are no longer there, and both sides know it. Constantly disrupting these wars only serves to prolong them and make them worse.
There’s no need to continue provoking Russia.

Trump didn’t mismanage Covid, the governors who went into lockdown did. The vast majority of deaths were of elderly people. We also know that anyone who died with Covid in their system was listed as Covid death, artificially marking up the numbers.

I don’t like Trump and what he has already signed (I am not for drilling and removing environmental protections) but this guy’s take is just plain dumb.
The environmental threats are always way overexaggerated by the weirdos. I HAAATE litter and environmental destruction too.

I watched a good chunk of the inauguration yesterday and was pleased that it all went off without any assassination attempts or all of those drones mysteriously showing back up. It looks like Trump’s getting right to business and doing it in Trump style, which I think is pretty great.
TDS is definitely kicking back into high gear already with Nazi accusations right out of the gate, which is unsurprising from people who rely on calling their political opponents fascist while they were busy governing like fascists.
Will Democratic Socialists, who I now presume all remaining Democrats to be, continue to wonder why others don’t share their distorted view of reality, conclude they must be evil oppressors, and then make fools of themselves?
I predict we will see more of that. I’m looking forward to #resistance Part Deux.
