Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

We’re down to $2.70 per gallon at the Auburn BJ’s, surely another one of Trump’s wicked plots that I’ve foolishly fallen for. Eggs are back down closer to normal, although I only buy mine from the weed store and they’re $5 a dozen, but worth it. Best eggs in town. 80/20 ground beef was $3.47 per pound at the local grocery store.

My electricity is way up though. Gotta pay for those out-of-state companies to do Maine’s part to save the planet.

The public needs to educate themselves on “Capacity Factor”, especially considering the benefit of Green Energy. Solar and wind turbine energy generating sources are both limited due to their low Capacity Factor.

Example: When solar power is politically supported its peak power is claimed and advertised. I worked in power generation for 41 years. Our utility built a solar plant that claimed to be a 15MW. The 15MW is only possible in the summer days at high noon and no clouds in the sky. At night it generates zero power (no MW’s). At sunrise the power generation rises and loads and unloads at sundown. The power curve is similar to a sine curve. Solar power has a Capacity Factor less than 25%. One of our oil and/or natural gas boiler/turbine/generators had a peak capability to generate 550MW. It could do that 24 hours a day.

Wind power has a Capacity Factor that is typically between 20% and 50%, depending on wind speed consistency.

Neither solar nor wind is capable of following load demand, without doing so out of a power storage facility. I have not kept up with the technology development. I know that our solar power all went directly to the grid. It could not follow load demand.

This bill was signed in 2019 as one of the Mills administration’s first priorities and, unsurprisingly, none of the predictions came remotely true. A whole lot of people got paid, though.

Even in summer with our long days solar accounts for very little. According to my kid’s boss on the tuna boat, the off-shore windfarms are really messing with the whales, too. The “science” says they’re not, but he’s not seeing nearly as many as he’s used to, and the “science” is often after the same kind of green stuff the green energy companies are after.

I always said

Wind and Solar are your snacks in between meals

Coal, Natural Gas and Nuclear are your three main meals a day

Speaking of snacks, Regan Paul (x post linked above) is pretty damn fine and one of our most competent people in Maine state government.

And how does that help the American people get jobs?

Automation reducing labor costs by up to 30% does not guarantee jobs. It is just incentive for companies to move some manufacturing back without having to pay actual people.

The rest is a lot of talk of “high-skilled” labor.

“However, challenges like skilled labor shortages (despite an 83% rise in apprenticeships over the past decade) and rising imports from Asia could temper growth”

“Job Announcements (2024-2025): 88% of high-tech jobs; ~100,000 in 2024”

I guess per Trumps plans it is good for the company and H1B visa holders.

ROFLMAO!!!

My innocuous post about the “hidden profile” know-it-all got flagged by a Karen…hmmm, I wonder who?…

So sensitive, we are.

Four years of lawfare, with the help of novel legal theories, temporary lifting of statutes of limitations, victimless “crimes”, 34 felony counts one for each written check LOLLL, etc etc etc.

And we’re supposed to be so dumb that we don’t think the Biden cough cough administration wouldn’t have just gone through an easily achieved release of damning Epstein evidence against Trump LOLLL.

Read some Sherlock Holmes, learn about what it means that the dog didn’t bark.

LOL Tucker Baggins

How do you interpret that phrase in regards to the Epstein email?

Have you noticed a pattern over the last decade with all of the media hoaxes against Trump? In Holmesian terms (Sherlock, not John), this latest one with Epstein is a dog that didn’t bark when Democrats were in control of the federal government, with access to all of the Epstein files, while also doing everything possible to stop Trump, but for some reason didn’t release the damning information.

Soo… did Trump gave a BJ to Clinton or not?

Do you really think that deals get made with well-crafted arguments and negotiating with leverage?

Clinton has a great opportunity here. He needs to say “Yes, it happened. I regret it and apologize. It was . . . ok. Not really that good.”

Trumps ego would force him to come out and say “Fake news! I give the best, most amazing blow jobs. Better than anybody actually.”

Because they were also involved. What is so hard to understand? Now that the Democrats are no longer in control, they are calling for full disclosure to make it look like they’re on the side of transparency, knowing damn well that nothing will come from it.

Epstein was working with intelligence and was likely under surveillance. I doubt anything in those emails will be truly damaging unless it was allowed to remain. Intelligence would have edited, removed, or destroyed whatever they considered sensitive way before public release. The released emails were held by the estate, it is safe to assume they were curated.

What Massie is pushing for is the release of everything.
