Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

I don’t know. I’d imagine a scenario where if one goes down, they all go down. You squeal on me, I squeal on you. It’s probably the reason epstein is dead. Everyone stays quiet based on mutual paranoia.

I voted for him in every election since 2012 when he was running in the primaries you sack of turds

I’m not anti trump, im just against him debasing himself and his voters. Fucking maga cultists

I get the frustration, but whenever I get worked up about Presidential politics I always remind myself that I only vote for President once every four years. Who are you comparing Trump to in this case?

It seems like you’re wishing he were a command sergeant major or an astute colonel, or perhaps someone extremely politically polished like Obama. Or maybe you’re comparing him to Jocko.

”Compared to what?” is a question you should always ask when you’re thinking about public policy or politics more broadly.

When I compare Trump to past presidents, their rhetoric, their results, and our current situation in 2025, he’s still the best guy we could have possibly picked, given the field since he entered into politics.

If the 50 year mortgage idea is as repulsive to others as it is to you, I expect he’ll be informed of the sentiment and take it into account before he blurts out the next thing he probably shouldn’t have.

No one. I just want him to stop making the people who vote for him look like shit because he doesnt know when to shut his fuckin mouth.

The longer he holds onto the epstein files, the less credible it will look, and the more damage he does to the very people who voted for him - as well as most of the right wing party.

If he doesn’t release the files 100% unredacted, we can only assume he’s in them.

My frustration is with the Toe-The-Line MAGA crowd who seems to think that everyone who has a disagreement with Daddy Trump is a left wing extremist, like @fitafter40 , for example.
You know my posting history quite well; I’m pretty sure you can attest to me hating liberals with a passion and me leaning pretty far right wing - to the extent which we should no longer be a democracy.

But @fitafter40 saw me being critical of Trump’s candor, so he branded me a TDS leftist because he’s literally that brainwashed. He’s just as brainwashed as most of the left is.

If you don’t know what you’re comparing Trump to, you’re probably comparing him to an impossible-to-achieve ideal. That’s what Marxist critical theory does, generally-speaking.

Expect more of that from Trump, because that’s the guy he’s always been, and the media literally feeds on it. Go watch old interviews with him from the 90’s or earlier. He comes across as a very thoughtful guy who isn’t afraid to discuss controversial topics. Meanwhile, he is literally making history with his presidential achievements during his second term. He’s probably already among the most impactful presidents in history, and I agree with nearly all of what he’s done.

I don’t think @fitafter40 meant any of that in the way you interpreted, and I think you’re overreacting to his post.

Hating liberals with a passion while also believing we should no longer be a democracy indicates to me that you may very well unknowingly be a leftist, insomuch as you’re applying their ways of thinking against them. It’s tough to tell without knowing more about your specific ideas.

The term “woke right” is real, and I don’t think you want to be part of it.

DEMOCRAt - democracy
REPUBLICan - republic

We were always a republic, and should go back to being one.

I support my wife and daughter by working and owning a house. I pay my share and contribute to society.
To think that my vote matters just as much as the lifelong welfare recipient or fentanyl addict is insane. I do not believe noncontributors should be allowed to vote… no skin in the game.

This is the basis of a republic - and a better society.

I just want the dude to act a bit more presidential and stop debasing his voters.
Apparently that aligns with marxism lol

I understand the distinctions you draw. We still are a Republic, even here in Lewiston, even if there are corrupting elements, especially with enabling things like noncitizen voting. It gets murky when subversives get involved.

If you’re comparing something to an idealized version of reality where a President is everything you want him to be, you are, in fact, applying a bit of Marxist thought. That’s pretty much the whole basis for it, comparing reality to utopia.

That’s why Thomas Sowell’s Three Questions are so powerful when thinking about public policy or politics more broadly.

Compared to what?

At what cost?

What hard evidence do you have?

Those three questions really do a great job of shutting down Marxist critiques, even if someone on the right is making one inadvertently.

I inderstand your point and respect it…but, thats not him…its Trump, a business man from Queens who has been put the thru ringer, almost assassinated twice, falsely impeached by the left

IMO…he had every right to say whatever the fuck he wants

So do all of us.
But you cant go into the darkest neighborhood in the city and scream the N word and expect no repercussions.

Same shit goes for the president. Dude just needs to act presidential.
IDK why this was even a disagreement - I didnt say anyting crazy.

No…he considered running but declined in May of 2011

When did i say you can’t

The dude was on the ballot.
I remember because it was the first time I was allowed to vote, and I voted for him.

I don’t recall him being on the ballot as he declined to run and I would have voted for him…but, if I am mistaken and he was on the ballot…then i aplogize to you for making that statement

“We have the greatest economy in history”

Who believes this shit?

-Using Walmart as a source for lower prices?

1- Those are prepacked meals

2- They are cheaper because they have less shit in them.

-Gas is $2.50??? Where?

Then with all the talk of illegal immigrants and America first he wants to flood the country with 10-100’s of thousands of H1B1 visas because apparently Americans are too stupid.

He is looking out of touch. This is a Democrats/Liberals wet dream.

If Trump is so bad, what is your alternative?
