The entire Trump cabinet seemed to be at the UFC fight tonight.
I’m just as shocked as you are that the Republican party seems to be growing in political competence.
The difference is that it’s not taught in a historical context, but evangelized as a movement often interlaced across subject matter as a form of indoctrination in to black victimhood mindsets. Apples and oranges.
Literally laughed out loud
You’re so weak when it comes to baiting me.
And a student can use his own critical thinking to accept or reject it.
@zecarlo, have you become more reasonable and respectful in your discourse lately? It seems so. Like there is more of you in your posts and less argue-for-the-sake-of-argument. Nice!
Not that you need my approval, but I try to balance negative callouts with positive.
My track record would suggest otherwise.
To be fair to you, it is very hard to guess what someone’s politics actually are when the political non-opinions they express mostly consist of 10 years of calling Trump and his supporters fools in the vaguest possible terms. To be fair, you’ve called a lot of other people fools over the years too.
What would you say someone’s politics were who maybe opposed segregation but thought Republicans were all sad, pathetic whiners and victims who were easily-fooled by con-men leaders in the 1950’s?
If that person was busy writing op-eds in their newspaper calling Republicans in the 1950’s and 1960’s easily-fooled rubes who blindly worship their politicians, you’d probably just call that person a racist today and move on, giving the matter no particular thought.
Your record over the years is easy for me to remember, just as easy to observe and you’ve been a TDS sufferer since the beginning. People who, in 2024, bitterly cling to the idea that their past words about Trump and the modern Republican party have been anything other than dead-wrong are woke leftists, for all practical purposes. I don’t really see the point in getting to the bottom of what someone like that believes today.
If someone your age can’t see everything that’s going on around him and pick a side on simple grounds of what’s right and what’s wrong, I’m not sure what to tell you.
We don’t have to wonder about whether or not Donald Trump has been lying to the American people this entire time. The last decade has happened, and it was very easy for me to see who the most egregious liars in all of this have been. Yet people like yourself act incredulous when someone asks for a specific example of what you’re talking about with Trump. I’ve gotten the same reaction here and in regular life for over a decade anytime I ask someone to give an example of what they are talking about.
At any rate, perhaps we’ll get another 10 years of daily posts about politics from you without ever knowing what sort of ethereal opinions you actually hold, as your understanding of politics and the world around us transcends those kind of labels.
“I’m not a leftist. I just think everyone who has been lining up against them are easily-fooled morons led by a lying idiot who doesn’t understand the government like I do.”
Don’t ever change.
I like how you’re reinforcing as he starts to slip lately ![]()
I believe you understand the difference between education and indoctrination. You’re being a silly goose to push a point.
Oh, is he slipping? I’ve been super busy lately trying to get yoga and mobility work in along with 5 days of weights AND cardio. I do my best to track everyone’s emotional development or lack thereof, but it’s a lot of work. I only managed to focus on it this week because an ass strain has me deloading.
What Democracy? We live in an oligarchy and have been for many years.
Trump will govern like he did the first time around. I’ll be eager to see if RFK Jr. will pass the Senate voting. I doubt it but it would be nice to see him take on the criminals n “healthcare”.
Thanks for the clarification. It’s hard to tell on this forum.
@castoli1971 Well, since you’re here, let’s hear it.
What do you predict for Trump’s second term?
Depends on who gets through the Senate voting.
What’s your worst-case scenario?
He carries on with the genocide that is going on with Israel/Palestine-a sure thing. RFK Jr. doesn’t pass the Senate voting and the “healthcare” industry is allowed to continue it’s theft and purposeful suffering of people-all for profit. And this doesn’t even address how many neo-cons he may have in his administration.
Thanks.
I’m not sure if you heard, but communist activists are enjoying massive success over on the ferret owner special interest forum. Perhaps that is where the tide shall turn. Will you be there when it does?
Hope so. In fact, I’ll take it a step farther and hope that its the end of the Democratic Party.
I’m trying not to get too much enjoyment out of the spectacular wrongness of so many smug pricks who despise Americans, but here I am.
I remember learning about this guy on Joe Rogan. It was a good show and Zeihan is a smart guy with some worthwhile insight, but he is almost too perfect of a smug prick to not draw attention to at this point. If you ask him a question, he knows the answer, and he’s certain about it.
Peter Zeihan predicted Donald Trump would win 12 states. Now that he didn’t, Peter Zeihan has to create a scenario where he’s still right about that. That’s what this bizarre video is.
“If you go back and look at his speeches, it is is obvious that Donald Trump is failing (paraphrasing)”.
Zeihan was talking about Trump’s mental health, because he obviously just experienced one of the greatest political successes in history. Normally I’d say sure, the guy’s like 80, probably slipping a bit, but I just listened to him do a 3 hour sit-down on Joe Rogan and he seemed fine to me.
The fact that Zeihan had nothing at all to say about Biden’s mental readiness for all those years tells me that TDS can infect even some of the brightest minds. I don’t think Zeihan is one of those, but a lot of people do.
And so begins the scattering of the cockroaches. After years and years of calling everyone who disagrees with them gullible and hateful bigots led by a traitor, they are going to pretend it all never happened.
"We’ve got to talk about pocketbook issues and get over the identity politics — that’s in the past, I think — and get rid of the buzzwords.”
