Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

Yeah, that’s more accurate

(To continue the ridiculous narrative…)

In addition to the White House, there were widespread alien attacks across the DC area, causing numerous fires.

Multiple news sources confirmed the damage to the White House just this morning, as photographers captured construction crews cleaning up the debris.

Thousands of displaced people crowded the Washington Mall and the Capitol surrounds.

Unfortunately, this also led to widespread looting of federal buildings and vandalism of monuments.

Additional military forces have arrived to support the National Guard already on the ground.

This is as disconnected from the truth as the narratives about Chicago and Portland. But with more accurate (and recent) footage.

On a not so funny note, Trump is literally destroying the White House.

:broken_heart:

Nothing is going untouched.

Since no kings day was such a smashing success, I think we should have a “No Fucks” day.

Don’t like Trump? No fucks! I got none!

Don’t like Scumer? Once again, No fucks! :man_shrugging:t2:. Nada!

Think your hair color is a political statement? Sorry, not sorry- no fucks for jou!

Want to free Palastine? I DON’T GIVE A SINGLE…

:airplane::airplane: :airplane: fuck :airplane: :airplane: :airplane: (thats a flying one!)

You get the gist. We can all gather in public spaces all over the nation and celebrate how we really feel.

He’s building it back better!!!

He actually will though. Like Biden did with food and fuel prices!

That should be every day.

I think people need a reminder. We can unite under one big flag.

The current big room at the White House seats 200?

It seems crazy the capacity is so low. There’s never been a bigger reception or dinner at the White House?

Then again, whats a good number for a formal event?

“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” Blaise Pascal

I think about this quote a lot.

I don’t disagree that there should be a large enough place. I’m not sure it should be on the White House property however.

Parking and kitchens and storage space all need to be accounted for too, whether onsite or nearby.

Also what’s the plan for the bunker underneath?

It’s a single, opulent, and very secure location.

It does seem like a foregone conclusion (to me) that it should have been done a long time ago.

I was at a wedding this summer that had about 300. There was still a fair bit of space too. Comfy, not crowded at all, but not empty feeling either.

He was a smart dude.

Bear Mode!

I suspect you guys might be getting your news from folks who don’t exactly put things into historical perspective, but rather into a perspective that frames everything Trump does as somehow unprecedented.

White House remodels and renovations are as American as apple pie, and many, many renovations have been done to the White House, and more will be done in the future.

You guys are already following my very incomprehensive Trump thread, which is a good start, but try following people who aren’t hacks who’ve made maligning Trump their entire careers for the last decade. It’s still good to check in with them to see what holes they can poke into the narratives, but I’ve learned to never take the anti-Trump narratives at face value. We’ve got dozens of threads from his first term where you can see the complete nothingburgers that were served to the public, now in 20/20 hindsight.

Cynical Publius is not a dumbass at all, and I follow his posts on X for the kind of perspective he brings on issues like this.

That doesn’t mean he’s right about everything, it just means he backs his ideas up instead of being a narrative repeater.

For real. I couldn’t give less of a shit about the white house. Now if the Brits burned it down again I’d get riled up.

White House Ballroom Continues Proud Presidential Legacy – The White House White House Ballroom Continues Proud Presidential Legacy – The White House

Facts are so yesterday. It’s all about “The Narrative”.

I have two genuine objections. The first is the claim that he wouldn’t be touching the building, followed with this, which comes across as yet another lie.

The other is it’s just bad design. It ruins any semblance of symmetry, and dwarfs the main building. The existing wing isn’t symmetrical, but it’s still balanced with the West Wing.

The third objection is really just a matter of overextending things. He doesn’t really need to touch/tweak/change everything at once. That’s almost always a bad idea in almost any context. It becomes an unmanageable incomprehensible mess in short order, with no real feedback to guide future action.
