And it’s what makes the forced diversity so awful. There was nothing, nothing at all stopping anyone from moving to Maine just like I did other than needing to pay your own way when you got here.
A black person would have found Mainers when they got here, who are not the same as people from Philly or Berkley, but it has never been a place with any serious problems with racism or faith discrimination. It was one of the most peaceful, tolerant places on the planet. That few black or brown people made it home was not a sign of a problem with the people who lived here, but that’s how the whole thing got spun.
Forced diversity, in the case of Maine, is Democrats gaining control of both state and eventually Federal government to use public funds to incentivize needy people to move here. This cynical ploy was done purely to strengthen Democrats politically by importing new voters who required state benefits to sustain themselves in Maine.
It was working, too. Every terrible policy I’ve bitched about here makes complete and total sense if your goal is political entrenchment. It has absolutely driven many conservatives out of the state entirely. Lewiston’s population is the same as it was 20 years ago but with a radically different demographic makeup.
They literally re-made the town dude, and called every person with a conscience and an understanding of government racist monsters. That’s how they did it, and they were doing everywhere they possibly could. Not just Lewiston.
It was a deeply, deeply nefarious plan that appears to be coming to a halt.

No. I’ve been saying it for a long time. Migrants have been a disaster for Lewiston.
It is not the responsibility of the people of Lewiston to shoulder that burden. The people of Lewiston get to have a public school for all of the people here legally to send their kids to.
If Democrats want more migrants they can begin hosting them in their own homes or funding it privately.
Because their ideology is rotten and their destructive policies have severely diminished the opportunities for my son, all so a bunch of people with strong emotions and weak thoughts could feel good about their politics.
I’d be no kinder to Hamas if their ideology took hold in the same way. In many ways, woke was much more dangerous. They were quite close to possibly turning us into a de facto one party state.
Religious nuts gaining control of the USA is much, much worse than religious nuts gaining control of Gaza.
You need to get out more. The “woke” do not believe in getting rid of violent migrants, as long as they can ship them to where the woke in charge don’t live (like Martha’s Vineyard, google that little fiasco), and can illegally vote for the party who let them in, with an open door policy.
There was a “woke” “journalist” saying Trump/Vance was lying about the Venezuelan gang problem in Colorado, because Venezuelan gangs had “only” taken control of a “few” buildings; so Trump/Vance was lying because they were supposedly implying that the gang issue was a widespread problem -because just a “few” buildings is not a widespread issue LOLLL.
There is precious little common ground with woke. It is incompatible with western civilization.

Broadly-speaking, people who hold faith-based beliefs about mankind such as racial victimhood hierarchies, transgenderism, controlling the weather in 100 years, etc. and use unsupported historical narratives to bolster this perverse view of the world.
“Democrat voter” would be a synonym for “woke person” in 2024. If you’re not sure if you’re woke Democrat, all you need to do is ask if you’re still a Democrat.
It happens every few generations. Hopefully there aren’t any bitter ideological struggles playing out in the country for a while. Let’s argue about funding levels and stuff.
