Where this type of stuff hits, I think, is that it is so misdirected by misinformation, outright deception, and manipulation.
When there is a (seemingly) clear Big Bad its a lot easier to get behind being ordered by your govenrment to kill other people.

I find this difficult to say for sure, and it could be debatable. Rhetorics seem quite harsh from both sides, specially if you look outside the main leaders.
Apparently he’s in “critical condition” at the hospital as of 50 minutes ago which is absolutely shocking. I don’t know exactly what that means (still trying active resuscitation measures? ,I suspect they would work on this guy for an hour+ before they called anything) but I thought he was a goner based on the footage I saw.

I saw footage of an eye witness being interviewed on the street.
He said a Trump campaign supporter named George Zinn, (Zimm?) was arrested after the shooting.
The eye witness said he didn’t believe Zinn was the shooter. He said he felt it was some kind of frame up, and Zinn, who he felt was a loser would make a good patsey.
The eye witness also said C Kirk was speaking about guns when he was shot, and that shooting seemed timed and Set Up.
Encouraging violence and destruction is a top-down Democratic Party tactic going all the way down to local and state level. It is why not a single Democrat that represents Lewiston had a single bad thing to say about my barber being subjected to a months-long harassment campaign after speaking out about how the school handled her daughters’ beating. She had a dedicated hate webpage made calling her a Nazi, shared all over social media with hundreds of thousands of potential viewers, she was doxxed, her customers harassed and ominous messages sent to her as well.
Every person of any prominence in Maine who speaks out will be targeted in some shape or form. I have been, and I’m just a citizen in Lewiston with maybe 2k people reading me (not counting whatever audience reads me here). That’s what they do, try to ruin anyone who opposes them. That’s the opposite of what we do, which is use words to get our ideas across.
Just because the other side hasn’t declared war doesn’t mean they haven’t been waging it. They are all out of words, what little they ever had. All the left has now are emotions, just like the rest of the socialist revolutionaries across history.

I have been next to a person shot in the neck by a 9mm. He was conscious, talking, and “fine”, but it did not hit his spine or any major artery.
Also, much different from a rifle round.
The video also looked like it completely blew his carotid open, it was pouring out.
If he got shot in the operating room with a trauma surgeon and their team there I don’t think he would have made it
