Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

I do not believe fizzling out is better. I believe a real war is the only solution that results in progress.

I can’t wrap my head around it TBH. It seems I live in a different reality than those folks. Trump just isn’t a masculine dude at all. Perhaps that is why it’s done (putting his head on Stallone’s body like the picture you posted) as an example. Make an image that matches what they want him to be?

I think its really only boomers doing this shit.
The same kind of boomer that thinks jesus is blonde haired and blue eyed.

Either one is fine.

It’s still a weird energy.

I think “real” wars are relics of the past at this point.

Technology has seen to that.

i’ll take ‘Photoshopping trump onto Arnold’s body’ energy before I take ‘I identify as a cat, now where’s my litterbox’ energy anyday.

Still, we should probably just have these types done away with so they can stop influencing elections with their pesky little votes.

Do you have any drones in your arsenal?

Ukraine has made it seem to be a worthwhile expansion

All I will say is - I have been playing with drones since before they were cool.

I am sorry, but one side has a pretty firm grasp on the weird. I don’t get that energy either, but…. yeah.

They could’ve had Tulsi instead of Biden, but nominating a smart, gorgeous patriot who speaks well would have been a huge slap in the face to Democrat voters.

This just in from America’s most enchanting politician:

What is the most weight your biggest drone can carry? Also, wondering if you involve the drones in your “war games.”

I didn’t mean objectively weird, I meant in relation to all the values the right claims.

I don’t mind if someone wants to hit the ‘nip and shit in gravel. Live and let live.

Someone with presidential powers and a cult following is different.

I genuinely feel like this was Biden and would have been Kamala.
Do you think differently?

Same.

Sounds terrifying. Honestly. I can’t imagine many worse options than real war.

Uh… there’s no short answer to this, but I need to sleep so I try my best.

The cultural reasons brought up is a major one. We live an era of hyper individualization and an era of constant enjoyment. People want to be young adults forever. This is reinforced by entertaiment industry.

Having and raising children is rough work, it’s awesome, probably the best thing I’ve ever done, but it’s not easy and fun. In reality best things in life are not usually easy nor always fun, but our modern culture does not reinforce this fact.

Money is other big one. Even in this nordic welfare state where state/municipality pays daycare, schooling, university/education and healthcare, having kids is still a major economical decision. It’s even more so in US, I reckon.

People are also more educated/study longer (not a bad thing), getting stable income takes more time (bad thing) and everything is more expensive these days (very bad thing).

Most people, even succesful/career focused ones, are still having children though, but only one or two, and by older age. This has led to shrinking population in many wealthy countries (Finland has terrible birth rate for example).

Yes. No one was really excited about either of them.

I’m not sure. Did anybody, even Dems, like Biden? Feel like he was just a not Trump option for Dems. I think Kamala getting trounced showed that for her too.

Republicans are generally all in agreement on direction it seems, whereas the Dems don’t have one single message as a party. They have factions, Obama/Clinton traditional vs Dem Socialism etc. I think this is a big reason they’re losing popularity, it’s like 5 different parties in one.

When you and your wife got pregnant, was it planned?
If so, how did you know when it was the right time to start having kids?

I’m asking because I’m at a point where time is running short to have more, but I’m finally at a place in my career that I can take off.
To me, it feels like I have to choose between having more kids and furthering my career (which I intend to leverage into building a legacy beyond children). Honestly, I don’t know how to balance those things and I’m wondering if you have any insight.

I can move this over to my training log if we start clogging up the thread.
