Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

Too early to have an opinion, imo. I don’t know the best way to go about that.

It depends if you believe that AIPAC was behind the mass migration and internal regime change operation, but he’s dismantling that.

I think your expectations are unrealistic. He’s been in office half a year, has accomplished more than any Republican of my life, including Reagan, and he’s navigating the most hostile political waters seen since the Civil War.

Is he supposed to sever diplomatic ties with Israel immediately and conduct some kind of purge? Declassify everything everyone wants to know, assuming it exists and hasn’t been destroyed? Light everything on fire all at once?

Since joining X I’ve noticed that a lot of the accounts I’ve seen echo your sentiment aren’t on my trusted source list. Not because they’re saying what you’re saying right now, but because they haven’t given me a reason to put them on my trusted source list.

And yeah, I still think they want to release the files, but given all of their other astonishing policy successes, they still have the benefit of the doubt from me.

Many things can be true at once.

Things are different at Club Fed now that she’s there. They were searching random cars during visitation this weekend. There are Federal Marshals and SORT team members patrolling the grounds and the unit she’s in. They had to move her to a room that faces the interior of the compound so no one takes a potshot at her from the road. She doesn’t leave the unit. They bring her meals and her commissary stuff. There are paparazzi outside the fence. For the most part the other inmates are pissed she’s there because her crime doesn’t qualify to be there. And her being there is causing a hassle.

I don’t understand why the Feds didn’t just have her die of COVID way back when. That would have been so much more believable than Epstein hanging himself on his knees.

The government sucks balls at everything it does. Literally everything.

So when it DOESN’T suck at something it does, it tells me there’s string pullers that making things happen. It’s the only time shit happens efficiently.

It is very good at dumping piles of cash on people to make all kinds of things happen, like trafficking millions of people into the country, meddling in foreign affairs, and now, under the recently-constructed legal predicate of “protecting critical infrastructure”, meddling in elections through censorship and propaganda.

I think you’re underestimating the significance of that.

As evidenced by the subpoenas today, things are still happening with Epstein, and it will take a few months to play out. Meanwhile things are still happening on a lot of other issues.

Everything they do sure makes all of them seem guilty. Not to mention Bondi’s pathetic binder stunt a few months back. Just absolutely bizarre handling and I’m over the “4D chess” argument, this is mishandled and voters are pissed.

Not taking away from the Obama/Clinton probe but dropping that during all of this…it’s like they were hoping everyone would move on and nobody did.

Honestly, if it were 4D chess, they’d have dropped the probe report 9 months before election day so the entire democrat party seems corrupt to the core. 2 of its modern heroes dragged through the mud.

Instead it seemed like a pathetic attempt to get people to look at something other than the Epstein files.

Whatever this administration is, it isn’t dumb or incompetent. Corrupted? Possibly. Staffed with child molesters? I doubt that.

I’m still in the kayfabe camp. Look at what set this whole thing on fire in the media. Elon Musk, an extremely intelligent guy who moves very deliberately, used a very curious choice of words. “Trump is in the Epstein files.” I’m certain that’s true, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he did anything wrong.

If I understand the verbal nuance, so did Musk long before he posted that. If I could predict the media reaction, so could Musk and Trump. The media are VERY predictable at this point.

Saruman would be the better stand-in. He manipulated Theoden with Grima, told lies to the hill folk to turn them against Rohan, deceived and hindered Gandalf, then took over a much weaker people in The Shire when plan A failed.

Oh, i meant that gandalf was AIPAC in this scenario, but yeah. im too distanced from LOTR lore to further comment… I have been disgraced in my pursuit of more money and abs

I got that much, which is why Saruman is the better stand in.

I haven’t read Tolkien in about 20 years but I read LOTR several times as a teenager, along with everything else he wrote.

I would be astonished if a Gandalf even existed among government lobbyists. He was literally an angelic being who was wise and fundamentally good-intentioned. He did meddle in affairs, but never to make good people fight. He did end up causing some wars, but always with The Enemy.

It’s hard to believe a force like Gandalf exists in the world. Fallen angels operating as malevolent spirits are much more believable.

Damn, Corstine lived up to his moniker of Big Balls. Good job!

The world would be a better place with more of this.

I hate this circle-jerk right wing echo chamber of a thread, but when you try to use Tolkien it’s like watching a monkey fucking a doorknob.

I do plan to visit Maine this fall, so it’s not all bad.

If you want more wealth and creation in the world, don’t vote for Socialists. If you want more abs, other threads have that covered. I’m not sure how you come up with the idea that Tolkien would have approved of Democratic Socialism in any way, unless you thought The Rings of Power resembled Tolkien’s writings, which it didn’t at all. Not even a little bit.

As for the circle jerk, it’s not my fault the Democrats have zero good arguments for anything right now, instead leaning into the unsupported idea that Trump is a fascist dictator-in-waiting. The corollary to that is the ludicrous idea that electing Democratic Socialists is the way to stop anything resembling fascism.

That’s a really easy argument to shoot down, especially the whole Nazi comparison bit.

There’s always reddit if you want to lean into that and have guys like me downvoted into oblivion!

Club Fed is obviously the quid, I’m waiting for the pro quo.

I want to see a debate between Maura Healey and Kamala Harris, I’d even pay for the PPV:

Grok says it’s been entirely “Democratic” since 1997 LOLLL!!!

Or!!!

You could just set a mirror in front of a male turkey and watch it beat itself to death trying to banish its reflection.

Essentially the same thing..
