Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

Will MMT save us? That’s sarcasm. We need DOGE so badly. Everything that can be handed to the states, should be. The federal government has to get focused.

Couldn’t that just mean the model is bad?

Genuinely at this point if Trump himself came out said “let’s just get this over with, I fucked 13 year olds on Epstein island, I’m pardoning myself for it, now let’s all just move on” would you care enough to do anything at all about it except say “well in Lewiston I heard some gunshots last week and some illegals voted last election so as long as he fixes that I guess I don’t really care”?

Really, genuinely reflect on that and get back to me. I honestly don’t think 90% of Trump supporters would care all that much as long as Trump keeps doing his trump stuff.

I think this has been one of the questions about Trump for years now… would anything even matter ? And by “matter” I mean lead to his current supporters calling for his resignation and even imprisonment if it rose to that level

I can say if Republicans didn’t impeach him immediately, I’d never vote Republican again. It’s probably just never vote.

What I’ve seen on media, backing off from Epstein has been first occasion that made many of his supporters pissed.

Considering Trump’s age and US law, it’s not a huge surprise that he decides not to potentially piss off all the rich people on those documents (if there’s dirt) to please his voters, of which he doesn’t ”need” anymore.

I can see right through that dog whistle. If you want slaves, just say it.

One would think democrat politicians would be crucifying him over the Epstein list, his previous comments on it, etc., but they aren’t.

And we all know why.

Directly? on the local and state level.
Indirectly? they’re included in the census, so even though they themselves cannot vote, the state now has stronger voting power through the electoral college via census representation.

That never stopped the global warming enthusiasts.

So what you’re saying is that he’s the first man in history to survive the firing squad?

Everyone seems to be missing the point I am responding to

Two jars says illegals are being brought in and voting. In fact, he says That’s the reason they are being brought in - to vote in such numbers that the democrats create a one party state where republicans can never win another election. He is claiming that there are people at the voting booths assisting illegals in their voting, providing interpretation services to do so

So my question is, IF THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING, where are the VOTES? Not the electoral college shift because of the census 15 years from now, the VOTES

Democrats apparently rigged the election in 2020 when they weren’t even in power, then they brought in millions and millions of people for the purpose of using them to vote… and got less votes ?

Brought in To vote.

We discussed this man. You don’t seem able to accept anything other than what you already believe, so whats the point in belaboring a strawman created on false pretense?

When I reflect on all of the Trump-related conversations over the years here, most of them boil down to people being upset that I don’t share their hysteria over one of the following:

  1. Unsubstantiated media narratives that they believe are stone-cold facts but I don’t (i.e. Epstein)
  2. Wild theories about what Trump is REALLY doing, also unsubstantiated
  3. Actions by Trump that are well within Presidential purview, including national security stuff where full transparency would be disastrous.

It would seem to me that you are very eager to believe leftwing media narratives with no basis in fact. Just in this thread you were fooled by NPR’s propaganda about how they are really funded and made the bizarre claim that Colbert is not a failing show, which also implies you think his bosses are bad at business or must have nefarious reasons for cancelling their failing show.

I’m assuming you take most of what you hear on NPR at face value, which explains why you and I have such a huge disconnect. They tend to make “technically true” statements that omit pertinent context and/or use mush words that can be interpreted broadly, like giving listeners the idea that Ukraine is an ally of the USA, for instance.

It is also absurd to me to think about national politics without considering local politics. Maine Democrats tend to share your hysteria at Trump, even though they’ve been running Maine into the ground since taking full control in 2018.

Story definitely checks out.

Maine’s voter turnout is one of the highest in the country. Plus I literally watched the city council president and school superintendent bussing migrants to the polls after losing 2 rounds of the school budget vote last year.

It sounds like YOU want ME to believe that ALL of the people who needed translators to participate in the one question, yes or no school budget vote were US Citizens. It is no coincidence that every Democrat politician I’ve emailed or spoken to in Maine cannot give a coherent answer to this basic question: What is the mechanism to stop a tourist from voting in our elections? There isn’t one.

This illustrates the incongruity.

I answered your question already, so im not really sure what else you’re getting at.

I said that the votes are happening at the local and state level. Just not the federal level (census implications aside).
