Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

Scott Galloway, who has been speaking about the plight of young men for years, weighs in.

“This was the testosterone podcast election.”

I haven’t been in the market in a long time but it seems like the whole cancel culture era pitted ideologies against each other in the bedroom.

I also remember when liberal women were not ogres. Some of the best lays were liberal women.

Liberals =/= leftoids… I remember liberal tramps in college. Not the mutants we see today

Yeah. Something got weird with the millenials.

The Manosphere elected Trump.

Blonde woman: “Women are dying in parking lots.” Mad young men are mad.

It’s an interesting time.

We are halfway in the matrix with our digital reality shaped by programmed algorithms. Literal brainwashing.

There were tons of smoking hot hippie chicks at Bonnarroo Music Festival in ‘03.

My buddy went to now super woke Oberlin college in the late 90’s early 00s. I went to a casino party there with girls in lingerie and some topless serving drinks and cigars, all empowered about having great tits and what not. They used to have a tent of consent.

They would probably burn the campus down in 2024 if they found out people were having that much fun.

There are several reasons why my old boss hasn’t fenced off the parking lot, dumped sand, erected a swimming pool and held a beach party at the bar for over 10 years.

Even if insurers and fire marshals would get off his back, are there even enough women would go to a dive bar in their bikini anymore?

I don’t know man. The times they are a changing.

It will swing back. Women are oppositional creatures. When offering sex is breaking the mould and being in-charge of their bodies they are all about it.

When withholding sex is the same, they’re also all about it.

I predict a rebound after a period of spiteful abstinence.

I see a lot of kids with mullets and Oakley blades again. It feels like a lot of the 80’s vibes are coming back around. I also hit two of the bigger lakes this year on the boat and plenty of young people still know how to have fun in Maine.

I just wish some of them weren’t in pontoon boats that can go 70 mph. Luckily there are plenty of lakes without that sort of stuff for my old ass.

No what is funny is that now they are advocating for what the Christian Right has said for years, abstinence. So, they won’t need abortions if they abstain. The joke is on them. Of course, they could have just relied on the thousands of contraception options, like responsible people. But whatever. I couldn’t bang a leftist even if they wanted me to.
It’s the whole, don’t put your dick in crazy thing… These people crying and screeching on tik tok that the end is nigh, are mentally deranged. And since they are abstaining, they won’t need abortions, so that’s all good news to me.

Men can also abstain from having sex with these nut jobs. Respect your dick enough not to put it in some crazy bitch that when she sobers up and remembers she is a man hating activist, will then hunt you down to cut it off. Or worse accuse you of sexual misconduct and ruin your life and your family’s life.
Respect your dick and put it in sane women.

I always knew you were an imbecile but I didn’t know you were gay.

What about the leftists that need to have an abortion for full membership? Men should form a group of “Abortion Seed Donors - Your Safe Place For Sperm.” The Leftist women could form a sperm receptor group called “Wham Me, Bam Me, Thank You Sir.”

MAGA is getting their shot to Govern. He is going straight Right Winger, no Centrist. I thought Pompeo would be useful in Defense or UN, he was loyal. My concern is will his team have anyone that can talk across the aisle? Many across the aisle are as crazy as Loons, but they are a necessary evil. I am hoping he starts with “Let’s make a deal…”, not “You came after me, I am going to end you…”.

On the Positive side, no more of the silliness and incompetence of Biden/Harris. We will get the border under control and enemies know Trump is as unpredictable as they come.

My prediction is that he will do better than people think because this time he doesn’t care, he is doing what he want and is set up for success (Senate, House and 3 SC Justices). Was there anyone set up better?

I would shoot them blanks, I would not let anyone kill my child, even if that child would be half emotionally disturbed bat-shit crazy. I stand by helping them to abstain. Respect your dick and don’t put it in a crazy bitch.

He’s actually a moderate when you plug your ears to all the crazy leftist bullshit. He was pretty moderate in 2017-21, surprisingly so. I do expect and demand he fire 75% of the government. Starting with Milly.
And we need investigations into the 1st Amendment violations coordinated by the FBI, CIA and NSA as exposed by the Twitter files. That cannot happen again to anybody right or left. I would like to see those organizations erased from existence. But I will settle for very serious reform.

He is going straight MAGA loyalist, outside of Kennedy which was a deal. He needs his people to accomplish his agenda, I get it. Problem I see is that Trump and who he is choosing are not Ron DeSantis types. DeSantis excels at using the system to accomplish his goals. Like it or not, there is still a process a President has to master to accomplish goals. Trump failed at that miserably last. He couldn’t even get GOP on his side, see Paul Ryan, Tillerman and McMasters.

By the way, they are not firing 75% of Government employees. The majority of the Nation runs on autopilot. Most of what you take for granted is taken care of by Government employees. Want to see the Private Sector do it, see what happened to the Indiana Toll Road and Chicago Skyway when they went Private. It was a nightmare. Profit can’t be the only thing driving Government responsibilities, like it or not there has to be a dose of equity (Not in the terms they use it now, it used to mean that you serve everyone equally. At least when I got my City Mgt masters in the 80’s…) and meeting needs.

I successfully traversed the entirety of both roadways last year. No signs of public policy disaster were apparent to me on this journey.

What did I miss?

Sorry for long answer, but you seem the type that would actually be interested (a compliment)
It is no longer owned by same group, third sale since 2004. Aussies own it now. Chicago keeps selling This is what happened when Blogo was doing his thing and Illinois was scrambling for any cash they can find. Daily sold it. It changed the focus to profit and brought Finance Companies into infrastructure. I am sorry, call me old school, but Bean Counters making operating decisions… (See Southwest and Boeing). IMO, you do not want your infrastructure being run for profit. We are seeing with Boeing what happens when Finance runs public used infrastructure (Airlines are good because the failures are extreme).

For the Skyway, the Finance Company (Morgan Stanley) put in a bill for 55M in revenue lost to adverse events in the first 2 years. They sued for 200M because of zoning.
“(Mihalopoulos and Fusco 2012). As Farmer (2013) notes, key elements of the city’s sustainability action plan, including bus rapid transit and bike lanes, target the same curbside spaces transferred to Morgan Stanley under the parking-meters concession. As the city would now need to effectively repurchase street-level rights-of-way from the bank to implement those transportation initiatives, raising their implementation costs to unfeasible levels, the deal has produced insurmountable obstacles for planners seeking innovative solutions to problems related to auto congestion.”

It has been sold to foreigners three times. I put this with the Chinese buying our farmland.

Very good, balanced article. As there have been positives. Old article, but it has been years since I actually worked with them. Hear about it at conferences, they don’t give a shit about your day to day drive.

Sale of the Century: Chicago’s Infrastructure Deals and the Privatization (…) - Metropolitics

Nothing that happens in Chicago happens without something or someone shady involved. I stopped trying to make any sense of what happens in the Windy City, except to understand that it probably involves corruption and continued entrenchment of Democrat politicians.

As far as the Indiana toll road, I’ve been on it a LOT in my life, making many trips in between Valparaiso and Angola on it in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

The cost of the tolls have certainly gone up over the years, but it didn’t strike me as a particularly dramatic increase that’s not in-line with other price increases over my life. It isn’t like the public toll roads in various jurisdictions are less expensive to drive.

The Indiana toll road seemed be in perfectly fine shape, so I’m not seeing the fundamental problem with whatever privatization’s taken place.

How has it been bad for Hoosiers?
