Funny thing is that Netanyahu supported (and funded) Hamas, because it’s the main competitor for Fatah, which Netanyahu feared would get Palestinian state in the West bank with diplomatic/political means.

Palestinians are indoctrinated since birth through their upbringing and UNRWA schools funded by our money. They are taught to hate jews, the right of return, to glorify Hitler, among other grotesque things.
Anything other than Muslims running any peace of land there is something they won’t live with.

Yes, that is true, but how often do these groups cross over to the other side and murder people indiscriminately? How many of them kill tourists?
They are but a tiny minority and I reckon most Israelites don’t like them.

Just for some stats: Hamas support in Gaza was around 50% before this conflict, it has risen since because of obvious reasons.
I’m neither a jew or a muslim, but I guess I’m a little tired of people acting like the Palestinians are poor peaceful victims who never did anything and some evil Zionists just came from Europe with their guns and took their lands.

Hamas represents only organisation to oppose Israel there, and even that it’s awful (evil) organisation, it’s a force against Israel. Survivors from Gaza are even more potential terrorists now than they were before all this happened.
The latest reports I’ve seen mentioned that support for Hamas has been eroding, also for obvious reasons.

I will say that it’s difficult not to kill civillians when hospitals and schools are used as military operation headquarters. Almost as if that is the intended result.

Sure. This was one strategy of Hamas. Not that the Israeli strikes were so targeted all the time. Bombing seem to been quite indiscriminate.
Nazis of course had industry in cities. And allied forces did not go home. I’m sure you guys now that bombing of Hamburg and Dresden are considered as war crimes.
War is hell. I can’t always say what decisions should be made in war, and how much innocent lives should be protected. But there are some lines, not everything should be acceptable.

With the ones who supported Hamas earlier, this might be true. People aren’t always logical in such situations.
This shitstorm is just one more in the long conflict which is older than you and me combined.
This is the one we’re talking about though. I know that the grievance crowd loves to refer to and revise history, because its hard to claim grievance without provably lying when the people you’re attacking are subsidizing your entire existence, but lets stay in the moment for this one.

And there at least had been video of big marches both in Gaza and the US with many thousands of people waving banners and chanting exactly that.
