Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

I reckon there is no correlation in attractiveness and political worldview. Unless we’re talking some really radical stuff.

It also might be that we have very different understanding of what liberal leftist means.

Every representative I see on and of the left / liberals is typically unattractive. Angry…spiteful…vindictive…self-loathing…mentally ill… unhinged…zero self-awareness… In film, pop culture, politics, etc…

AOC was good looking but developed those crazy googly eyes and the ever present upspeak.

Nancy Pelosi wasn’t bad when she was younger. She had a great rack.

Tulsi was never woke, but she did run for the Democratic Presidential nomination. It was no coincidence a gorgeous and intelligent woman was swiftly ruled out.

There are some attractive ones for sure…just very few.

I once pretended to be a Bernie Sanders fan on a bouncing shift.

The ruse was a success.

In Europe young women are statistically typical voters of liberal or leftist parties. This causes many of the politicians being young women too.

And she breaks out the “LATHINAAAAA!!” every time she says says the word.

Like she goes from any regular person from the Bronx to Speedy Gonzalez in a single word.

That was definitely true when I was in my teens and 20s. It still is, just to a much lesser degree. Chances are any conventionally attractive gal is not woke at all.

I think men in women’s sports is the biggest driver of this phenomenon locally. It really sorts people out along physical characteristics. You need to be extraordinarily unathletic and completely oblivious to physical characteristics to believe in that.

Here’s a representative opinion from Maine’s shining example of what we’re talking about. They are literally teaching girls to accept the penis, even if it makes you uncomfortable. That’s actual government policy.

You spontaneously grew man boobs and soy face??

No I just smiled and nodded as she enthusiastically explained why Bernie was going to change the world. I had never seen her in the bar before and she was a rather bubbly gal who told me she wanted me to bounce her at last call.

If I recall correctly this was during the 2016 primary.

Sometimes it is better to be liked than to be right.

Breed them out of existence

This is perhaps more prescient than you realize.

Shape shifters… and people lap it up. Remember her staged photo at that camp where she’s hamming it up for the camera with a $2000 watch… yet leftoids are all “fight the oligarchy” hurrrrrrr

Other things besides Hot Sauce in Hillary Clinton’s purse…

I looked up that mass shooting. That was in 2023, and killed 18 people, and wounded 13 (for a total of 31 shootings). This makes me more skeptical about the reported percentage (1,750%), since I’d assume they were reporting on the last full year (2024).

If we assume the only shootings in 2013 were the mass shootings (31 total), then for 2024, the amount of shootings would be 17.5 x 31, or 542 shootings. Lewiston seems to have a population of around 40K (a bit less according to google). That means a citizen of Lewiston has about a 1.35% chance of getting shot per year (assuming the rate remains steady). That is the lowest percent chance as well since we are assuming the only shootings in 2023 were the mass shooting.

I’ve never been in Lewiston. Maybe it is that rough, but I’d be skeptical of the source, I’d have to confirm that percent myself with crime data to believe it. It is just so out there it seems ridiculous. If it is true, I’d seriously consider moving.

You are conflating homicides and elevated aggravated assaults with shootings. Most of our shootings do not involve homicides and many involve nobody being shot at all.

The newspaper that reported it is also heavily left-leaning, literally owned by a Soros nonprofit as of a few years ago. I suspect the 1,750 percent number is low, but not necessarily manipulated. A good chunk of shootings are reported only on social media when somoeone says “I was just woken up by four gunshots, did anyone else hear them?”. Other people confirm that they were, and occasionally someone says they saw people lighting off fireworks at 3 am. I’ve heard a few myself that I were never resolved by authorities that I am aware of.

If the police recover no evidence, it does not get counted as a shooting, but it still terrorizes the people who have to live with gunshots outside their homes, sometimes several in one week.

Nobody who has lived here since the article’s reporting start date (2010) has disputed that number at all. It isn’t difficult to realize that violence that was once unheard of is now very common. It is a fact that more shots have been fired in Lewiston since Governor Mill’s election than the rest of Lewiston’s history as a political entity combined.

I have seriously considered moving for a long time, but I value being close to my kid and the housing situation makes moving a few miles outside of town prohibitively expensive for me, compared to my current situation. I also live in the “nice” part of town, and no shootings have happened within a block of me.

That is fair. I am not sure what exactly counts as a shooting (in a journalism context). For journalism, I’d assume a shooting means someone was shot. It seems misleading for a news source to report gun shots as a shooting (unless they are talking about a recreational shooting event, like a shooting tournament or something).

Maybe I am off base, but I’d think shooting = someone got shot, not that a gun was fired (in the context of reporting a violent gun related crime). For example, if I was a reporter, I’d report there was a “shooting” at the mall if someone got shot, and I’d report “shots were fired” if a gun was shot, but nobody was hit. To me that seems to be the common understanding of the terms. I think it is important to be precise here, because of the massive difference in gun shots and someone being shot. I’d say the paper is the one conflating the terms, and that the general public’s understanding of the terms doesn’t agree with what they reported. Again maybe I am wrong, but in journalism it seems like a report of a “shooting” is almost always someone getting shot, and “shots fired” is what is used for a gun shot with no victim.

The police were similarly unequipped to distinguish the events and never even measured “shots fired” until recently. It took public outcry at the rapidly worsening conditions and the absurd gaslighting we’ve experienced from our government and media to get them to even begin measuring “shootings”.

The fact that mostly children seem to be committing them, are terrible shots and often indiscriminately firing into the air or at buildings doesn’t make me feel any better about the situation, especially since we don’t seem to be making any policy changes to address it.

We’re just continuing the ACLU march towards being softer on crime, and it shows all around us in every one of Maine’s largest cities. It shows in our data, too, with a huge percentage of arrests being people From Away who’ve chosen Maine as their place of criminal operations.

Statistically this isn’t true

@sepcalla is right

In Europe and Australia a growing rift has emerged amongst men and women aged 18-25 in thst men have gone slightly more conservative on average… say on a 1-10 point scale men have gone 1 point closer to the right

Whereas women in Aus and Europe are sprinting towards the left. The left has done a really good job at alienating and demonizing young men whilst simultaneously pandering to young women… that’s all I’ll say for now as my thoughts on it become kind of mean

But yea… I don’t know about the states, but I know in Aus/Europe hot girls my age are infinitesimally more likely to be left wing… woke even… and I’ve seen many goth socialist level left wing chicks

Maine isn’t representative of the world… even America, not representative of the political trends amongst youth

I fucking love America, but I think you’d be surprised to see how common it is for Australian or European kids (or even British) to talk smack about America and/or showcase disdain or complete disinterest towards the idea of merely visiting the country!

I’m sure things are different across different oceans, but I believe what my own eyes observe where I live.
