My how language has changed from the 1970’s and '80’s. We knew that taking too much testosterone could be harmful, but if you took too much estrogen it would kill you.
Also, we had a difficult time understanding women, as I would suppose most men have. We labeled them as having “estrogen poisoning.” I suppose they are retaliating with “toxic masculinity.”
A couple of problems I see. One, this will waste a lot of time facing legal challenges. Just do some actual things of substance. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico does nothing to make my life better, for example.
Second, I know some people love Trump but he won’t be there forever. Who comes after? Some shitty Democrat or Republican? Do we want the next guy, and no one can be certain the next guy will be their guy, to have this kind of power?
I can’t see how this ensures peace. Many Europeans are saying that US is following Putin’s flute now. But let’s see when the negotiations start. I want to see what’s actually on thr table.
Zelenskyi is not a saint, and Ukraine is hardly a democracy. But Putin is a monster. And he is very intelligent, so everybody should be very careful around him and not trust anything he says. I recommend to read something about Putin’s history to see what he is about. He murders anybody who gets in to his way if he can.
Might also be that Trump’s administration is clever and they’re speaking Russian propaganda to please Putin and ease up the negotiations, but this sounds optimistic.
Read what was written on behalf of Trump (because he didn’t write it). There is an ocean that separates us and keeps us safe. That’s a very simplistic and almost archaic way of thinking.
Trump definitely wrote that. I do a pretty good Trump when I try, but it’s pretty hard to nail like that. I also highly, highly doubt ANYONE has access to Trump’s twitter account in 2025, except maybe the CIA or some other government spooks.
He’s also 100 percent correct to remind the world of our massive oceans, beautiful bodies of water, the best the world’s ever had.
Nuclear annihilation’s always on the table nowadays, but the USA is a maritime empire, much like the UK used to be but much better defended than their sunless island.
Crossing the English Channel is a piece of cake and has been done many times. Invading through Mexico or Canada, or even through Alaska, would be a logistical impossibility on a similar scale as an amphibious invasion.
The Russian military had always been overrated. For us in the West, it made sense for the military industrial complex to portray the Soviets as supersoldiers. The truth is, we buffaloed them in Cuba, they lost in Afghanistan, they lost the USSR and Eastern Bloc, they are stuck in Ukraine when it was supposed to be over two days.
