I saw a few posts yesterday trying to start this bullshit. One particular post said something like… waking up this morning as woman in America was a heavy feeling.
There were a couple of comments that agreed but it certainly was not the majority on the ones I read. 99% said they woke up happy and relieved, joyous for the first time in four years.
As far as saying something in person, would you say that to your mother, grandmother, wife, daughter? If men (again, read carefully as I’m not singling you out), tell their daughters that they are imbeciles, they will have the brain of a child even as an adult, they shouldn’t be expected to be listened to as they are morons, they will be setting up their daughters to have relationships with losers. How do you tell your daughter that a man isn’t good enough for her if she’s a retard?
And they are winning. Andrew Tate is a thing because they are winning. They managed to influence a whole genre of internet “influencers.” These men keep saying women aren’t shit yet their lives revolve around women. These women are seen as the enemy but if they were weak, irrelevant, would they be considered an enemy or a mild annoyance?
I wouldn’t count on it. DEI doesn’t need policy to be in effect. Equity can be achieved by simply dumbing everyone down before they even get to college or the corporation. Besides, DEI relies on women to work and their position in education, at all levels, and in the workplace is secure. The goal of the “liberals” is to destroy actual liberalism. Even women who don’t agree with DEI are used to achieve that goal.
Idaho had a proposition to mandate voter ID. It passed. I have always had to present my driver’s license when voting. It seems astounding that any state would not require voters to present an appropriate form of identification. Yesterday the Eastern Idaho News ran an article concerning college students, in the town where I live, who walked in with out-of-state IDs wanting to vote. It did not occur to many of them they needed to be citizens of Idaho in order to cast a ballot. What did they do? They complained to the news outlets. Follow the rules kids.
Given that education is district controlled, it doesn’t matter who is in the White House. Also, the right is part of the dumbing down so they aren’t going to fix anything. You don’t fix an issue driven by politics with more politics. Neither side wants an enlightened populace. They both want subjects, servants, peasants and workers. The political parties are no better than dynastic houses.
It is a feminist idea that started in South Korea and it involves abstinence from dating, sex, motherhood, and marriage that now some women in the US have declared they want to join.
I don’t want to expand on this too much as it would derail the thread, but in the midst of the ugly decline I’ve experienced my whole life, I sometimes sentimentalize the 90s. The decline was in full swing, but compared to now it seemed like it was a far better and fun time.
Imagine going to back this good stuff.
Flea markets.
Males and females liking each other.
Malls. Yes, they still exist, but they’re not like they were, and Gen Xers know what I mean.
Keg parties (including those where you’re not supposed to have them).
Being outside all day with droves of other people–literally all day, from morning until night, with no phones!
Legendary films.
Legendary music.
Arcades.
Roller skating rinks.
Movie theaters.
Skating and rollerblading (not something I partook in but it was fun to watch some daring and talented people).
That’s good. Nearly all posts I read while slumming on Threads were low brow.
Such posts like this are one of hundreds I read over about an hour. It was so entertaining, lulz-inducing and strange I felt like I couldn’t stop scrolling. The woman who wrote this is white.
It’s what I do. But seriously, I wouldn’t completely blame the students as in some places college students are allowed to vote in local elections. Which makes even less sense than allowing them to vote in a national election when they are away from home.
I have never been so foolish as to suggest that I understand women. Considering if this 4B movement has much traction, I wonder if women understand women.
I see. I’m sure this is happening, but it’s another “thing” I’ve personally only heard about on the internet at this point.
I liked the 90’s too. All the semblances of modern convenience, but still a largely analogue lifestyle. The early 2000’s weren’t bad either. The internet had come in to its own but it was pre-social media, which seems to be pretty detrimental.
