LOL, nice work posting the pic with the worst possible lighting and least flattering pose. Wikipedia didn’t do her any favors.
She has a very specific look with the natural red hair (yet no freckles) and pale skin. If you like that look, I don’t think you can get much better.

I guess you’re right on the lighting, but it didn’t register as bad picture since she’s all dolled up for an award show.
I don’t think I could ever give any woman the distinction of “most attractive woman I’ve ever seen” because beauty is so common.

Don’t know about the whole “lesbian thing”. I can’t say that I see it being completely out of character for Tara though. Seems like something that she COULD do. She might be scared away from sex/intimacy with men after her ordeal with that last vampire (Franklin? don’t remember).

No… it is way adrift from the books by now. Lafayette is dead in the books, Sookie never went to Fairyland, and Claudine was a good fairy about 6ft tall. Also the whole queen of Louisiana and the wedding was different. Also… Hoyt, Jessica’s boyfriend, big difference in the books.
So the series is more based on the books but does not follow the books.
Watched it last night. True Blood is now Charmed, but minus Alyssa Milano.
I wish I got into this series.
