Did he measure T4 and T3 before starting you on T4?
Looks a bit like hyperthyroidism due to Graves‘ disease. The 75 mcg shouldn’t give raise to such high levels.
Edit: forget about Graves‘ disease, I didn’t catch the high TSH initially

I’m not taking biotin, I had another set of labs done a day prior. Still the same thing. Yep that’s 75mcg everyday. I found a new Endo and they stopped the medicine.
But these labs are fine. Do you have any explanation for the difference in lab results?
I mean TSH should not be fully suppressed but at least T4 is in range.
Same tsh and this shit Endo didn’t take any free t3 or t4 this blood work is 2 days before the other.
True and good idea to change docs
But the two results give you an idea why you achieve such high free T3 and T4 levels on only 75mcg. You might just have low levels of TBG
They also put me on selenium. They are also going to run blood work to see if I have a autoimmune disease
I have no clue why they were so high on just 75 . I don’t think they checked for thyroid binding globulin.
If I’m not mistaken, the last lab you posted isn’t measuring Free T4. It looks like total T4.
Are you sure you’re not taking 125mcg or some other dose? Have you checked the pill color and marks with an online table to make sure they dispenses the correct pills?
The TPO antibodies the previous doctor measured should be enough to diagnose an autoimmune disease.
They can also often tell from the ultrasound. The thyroid gets a kind of cauliflower texture to it.
I just check and the pills say 75 66333, which I just double checked to make sure they are 75.
Yes the first lab didn’t check my free t4 just my total, the second lab is free t4. Just had my ultrasound today, I’ll have to wait till Monday for the doctor to go over them. They gave me paperwork to get more blood work I’ll have to check to see if they are testing tbg
Absolutely correct.
@hotrodandy
You don’t need to measure TBG. T4 dose is adjusted according to TSH and freeT4 and freeT3.
Being center in the T4 range but exceeding the freeT4 range can give you an idea about your TBG and it provides you with an explanation why you ‚overreact‘ to thyroid hormone medication.
You will end up again on T4 but likely with a relatively low dose of something around 40 to 50 mcg.
The interesting part would be to find out if you still need TRT if you finally reach an euthyroid state. I think you will have good chance of achieving good T levels on your own.
Best of luck!
