The whole contamination thing is a little overblown in my opinion. I’ve never had an issue and I injected intravenous drugs for years (been sober for a long time). I’m not saying you can’t get very unlucky I’m just saying I use very little caution with my preparation and have never had an issue.

You don’t understand how angry I am, but there’s nowhere to take the anger out. I get referred to a urologist. He says let’s take a semen sample. I go and give it. He says there’s something wrong, you need to see a fertility specialist.
I call the fertility clinic to setup an appointment, they say they don’t see men, at all.
I email the urologist back, he doesn’t reply.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG and no one will tell me if I’m primary or secondary.
Do you have blood work from before starting trt?
Your lh, fsh & total/free-t with lab ranges? Often you can tell from those which you are but sometimes it’s still indeterminate.
I actually got angry and wrote my urologist back and demanded an in person meeting to determine if something is wrong with my testicles or pituitary and if I’m sterile or not. What do you know, act like a psycho and you get an appointment next week. If I’m sterile I’m going back to drinking and drugs and quitting my job.

That chapter of the book doesn’t turn out well but 10 years after being sober I did end up with a girl being pregnant so maybe it did.

Glad to hear sobriety and staying healthy has worked out for you. I’ll be 2 years this January. Going to stay on the wagon for now. Wasn’t trying to hijack the thread! If anything your case proves the human body is insanely resilient, and when it comes to reproduction, life always finds a way.
