Definitely support her, and coach her on what kinds of questions to ask, but leave her enough room to kind of learn for herself as well.
I am bad about that with my wife because I’m kind of a geek but not the best teacher. In the past, this has led to my wife feeling like she had to depend on me for everything. For the last few years, I’ve been trying really hard to help educate my wife in all things instead of doing all the research for her. It has done wonders for her self confidence.
Just throwing this out there. If your wife has a lot of joint pain, try glucosamine sulfate. By itself. Not chondroitin, no MSM, no other crap. Many people have an adverse reaction to chondroitin, it’s just in there to make the pills more expensive. It takes a few weeks, but if she’s got some kind of arthritis or degeneration she will just realize it one day that it has stopped hurting.
Hi Charlie,
I would take baby steps with your wife. Just getting her T/P/E in good ranges will increase her metabolism. This will allow her to burn fat in her sleep. It should also increase her energy to get out and do stuff. That will include an increased sex desire if the T is kept at or above the top of the range. Go to high she will get mean so be careful. You ever read the story of the male black widow spider? Yeah that’s the game you are playing. haha.
BUT it is slow it took my wife over a year after being tuned up to start seeing these things happen. Sex hormones are not like diet pills. Try giving it some time and don’t push her. Pushing will just cause anxiety and many women eat when they get anxious.
HTH we are all rooting for you two.
I started a thread on Metformin. I do not like it. The thing with Armour is that it contains T3, so if you’re not taking more than your natural level it won’t help because it is T3 suppressive to take endogynous T3 - or so I’ve read. I do not know why your numbers went down, but I will say that I think your dose is too low
My wife is using progesterone cream OTC. Would pregnenolone capsules suffice instead of the cream? And if so when to take the capsule and what dosage ?
Cream is expensive.
Wife also taking testosterone. No dhea. Dr suggest 200 mg progesterone day14-28 and 100 mg day 1-13. She is peri menopause
Also do you suggest it for men on trt. ?
I see, I thought you were with Defy. I do not think you would see enough of a bump in progesterone with pregnenolone, but I suppose it would not hurt to try, unless her levels are already adequate. Labs will tell the story. Was the OTC cream not working?
Divided doses, twice daily, start at 100mg/day for a week, then go to 300mg for a week, then 500mg. Not sure that would have a significant impact on progesterone levels though.
I did not read the report yet but Dr called me and said I have reduced heart function. Ejection factor is 45%. Suppose to be over 55%
I am besides myself. I am never short of breathe when I exercise. I am 42.
I need to see the Dr. For follow-up.
Am sure he will bring up trt. I take daily Cialis - could it be that. I actually read Cialis helps reverse heart failure.
Remember boys this hypogonadism symptoms was pretty acute. Started with Major hot flashes and elevated BP. Then started trt after this and low testosterone readings. I always thought maybe something else caused the low t readings.
