Does anyone know how the resistance on Louie Simmons’ Tread Sled works?
Just wondering, because I’ve been using an old treadmill, manually, to simulate pulling a sled. The resistance provided by the motor is pretty good for GPP. And it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than his version.
I believe his version is longer than a treadmill so you can actually pull a sled on it. If that is what you are asking. If you are not pulling a sled on your treadmill then that defeats the purpose of the Treadsled.

I don’t have the treadmill turned on, so the tread only moves under my own power. It really is similar to pulling a sled.
They don’t actually pull a sled on the thing, but I have seen it hooked up to some bands.
I was just wondering about the initial resistance, before they hook up some bands.
