I think it should be about carry permits, but this really isn’t about that, although you keep repeating that it is.

Also, laws are for the law abiding. If you take the guns from the folks who can own and carry them legally, do you really think criminals will not use them? That the criminals who are law breakers in the first place are going to think “uh oh… I better not use a gun on my B&E or rape?”

really?

Again
Laws are for the law abiding. I say make ammunition more expensive and if you use a gun during the act of a criminal activity, let the sentence reflect that
.
Do not punish law abiding folks for criminals.
What?? Are you even talking about this case?
absolutely I am.
But I am also talking about ramifications from the case. Just to put it out there, I thought he should have been charged with manslaughter. Not murder. I just don’t know what the prosecution is thinking. I guess they are going with the since he had a weapon then his intent was to kill.

I should have couched my earlier message better. I do not think Trayvon should have been killed. That isn’t even a question for me.

But, this isn’t a weapons issue now, at least not in the public.
The public has been told what to think on both sides from the beginning by either someone in office or the media. And once this trial ends you may see some grumblings helll maybe a store break in or two ( with dumb asses claiming it was for trayvon). But what really will be driven by this is a bill maybe even in Trayvons name to stop “GUN” violence. Race is only the selling point to get the uninterested involved.
aaahhh holey moley. There you go with gun regulation. Would you tell me what you mean by that. So you know, I grew up on a marine corps base
. Weapons are every day.

But will you please consider that laws are for the law abiding. The bad folks with the guns already DO NOT CARE.

Please let me know what you think about my consideration that acts of gun violence should face longer time. You use a gun, you pay for it.
Also, just economics, make ammunition expensive.

And really, there has never actually been a race war thank goodness. My Dad is from Watts and a Marine. When they had the riots he was dropped off 3 blocks from his house.

Also, Does no one remember the 911 call Zimmerman made. He was excited as hell. And it does not exactly match the “operator asked for an address and I had to leave my car to get it testimony” he states when asked for HIS address " I don’t know where this guy is I don’t want to give it out"

So your to scared to say your address because this guy might be near but your cool with leaving the car to look for a address to give cops?

Either way he will walk

I don’t think anyone is saying he was a stellar Neighborhood watch person. Right?

So what are you going for with your post?

Haven’t we all said it should not have happened?
That it was awful and the charges will not bring justice?

What do you want?

What are you hoping to read?

Again, what???

Well I thought this was already known but I am retired Military and a concealed carry holder. I also do not believe in “GUN” violence. It’s just plain Violence. So if someone is beat to death with a bat are you saying they should do less time than if they had been shot?

Hey I like Chris Rock too but the hell with raising ammo prices going to the range is getting expensive these days

If it makes you feel better I’ll go back and get Jewbacca’s post where he says that Zimmerman left his car for an address and post my statement to his. That is if it will help.

I was just going to say that. Ammo has been really expensive and really hard to get since Sandy Hook, and maybe even before that.

I have not had issues getting some. The weapons are disappearing, but the ammo is still available. At least where I live. Maybe because I am the only conservative in my liberal neighborhood. I have told all my neighbors to come get me if someone breaks in their house because I will respond better than HPD.

Well since its highly unlikely that Zimmerman will be convicted, I think what we should be asking ourselves is; “What happens after this is over with?”
Depends on the verdict. Guilty there is a celebration in the streets with looting and the like. If not guilty there is a riot in the streets with looting and the like.
Thank God we live in Texas, friend. There won’t be looting here. Not ever.
there will be looting, just not at my house. How bout them apples?

Hey Love if you got a legitimate question just ask. What is with all the “what do you want stuff”

What are you asking me, specifically?
