Right here is one of the main differences between the United States as founded and the sniveling entitlement mob that overreaching government has been very successful in producing. The trouble is if this current gang gets it’s way you will be prevented by law from improving your situation in anything like the manner the founders intended.
I am willing to bet that you are paying for health insurance independantly and not part of a group. Kinda like what I call the Walmart effect, increased volume equals decreased price
You are young, and married. inceases your chances of having kids which are expensive, hospital costs with labor and deliver, epidurals etc, and that fact that the OB Gynie (obamaism)has the largest malpractic insurance of any specialty which in turns raises his fees.(don’t even want to start on John Edwards)
Young adults have and increased rate of major trauma, whether from increased risk taking, increased recrreational activities etc.
I understand exactly how this is frustrating. My wife and I watched our insurance rate go from 250/mo to 1000 mo in the span of 3-5 yrs. we were young and healthy, and either in college or self-employed. Also as a chiropractor have seen the health care debate from several sides of the debate. As a provider and as self-employed small business owner. I don’t see anything in the public option that remotely looks like a good idea however. It will not increase efficiency, it will not improve quality of care, and it will definately not decrease price. It is about giving coverage to people who primarily vote for it, generally paid for by those who oppose it.

Did you guys see my town hall meeting? It’s all over Rush and Drudge.
I tried to shake the guy’s hand that was in the red shirt claiming his 9th and 10th ammendment rights were being violated, but it was too crowded.
For a young family that is a severe financial burned to carry monthly. Oh we use a doctor visit once a year or so. Can it make it better for people like us?
