You are correct to query him on “work”. His “living” is provided through the tax payers of Sweden. Living off of Swedish welfare does not quite qualify as work. Feel free to challenge his claims of travel as well.

The article I read was in one of the science magazines, but I cannot remember which.

The plan they had involved using wind power. If I remember right, the proposed plant had another function, but I cannot remember what it was.

Anyway, here is an article in Technology Review, which is published by MIT:

They have been able to pull CO2 from the atmosphere, and turn it into carbon monoxide, which we have been able to turn into fuel since the 1920’s.

The linked article involves using solar power for the process.
